Maybe a weird suggestion but the indie platformer Knytt Stories has really beautiful backgrounds. The most wonderful looking trees of all colors. That and the music always made it feel very enchanted to me

Oblivion modded with tons of extra flora and lighting/weather mods and stuff like streetlamps was always the best forest experience for me. I would just load it up and walk around looking at the plants for a long time

Why is this game so cheap? I saw a new copy for like 12 dollars.

Its a really mediocre game overall so I'm not too surprised. Has a couple different styles of gameplay between the kingdom management, army battles, and normal jrpg battles, and they're all passable but none are genuinely good either
