The Church of Atom went from a local cult nobody cared about in Megaton to having multiple outposts in the Commonwealth/Far Harbor in a post-apocalyptic setting in under 10 years, in a setting where travel is incredibly difficult and the largest nation ever has a population of 700,000 spread across all of the West Coast.
