I admire the build, but what is the point in this Nintendo Lego crap? The whole point of lego is to buy a set, build it, get some cool characters you like. Then destroy it and start building your own, and you can use the figures you have to create new adventures or ideas in those respective worlds.

These Mario sets are to be built and displayed? Or played with as a conventional toy, kind of goes against the whole point of lego, but whatever to each their own. I know there are people who buy these sets just to display them. I think that's about as much fun as assembling Ikea furniture.

The point is to CONSOOOOM.

Some people just enjoy building Lego kits. Think of them like model kits, only with Lego pieces instead of uniquely molded parts.

This but unironically

is this really the target audience for a children's toy?

What race is that

I guess that makes sense, but there isn't really any skill involved like with a model kit. Also if you've got to sand it, paint it, that takes skill and hard work. With these lego kits it's just follow the diagram, takes time but not much else.

Some of them are pretty advanced, and once fully assembled, make for some really nice shelf candy. Theres still build, destroy, and rebuild sets around, but lego has so many subsets theres a little something for everyone.

>1980s-style television
I didn't know TVs still had knobs that late.

Not gonna lie senpai, this is pretty onions.

Why would I want hard work

black dad white mom most likely

Yeah fair enough, I'm not looking to be a dick, just trying to understand it. Lego to me was always about being the creator. Although I will admit a couple of the architecture kits do look very nice, pic related.

Not every hobby needs to involve skill and hard work. It's nice to be able to relax and just build something with legos.

Yeah, my family had a set with one up to the mid 90s, I think they started to phase out completely in most homes around this time
