What do we think?
Civ 6 Ethiopia
Seems pretty cool, they're keeping the faith focus of the faction. Still whoever this nigga is he has nothing on the real MVP Hailie Selassie from CIV 5
>another religious victory predisposed civ
Religious victory is the most tedious victory path in the game, I have no idea how anyone enjoys it.
true, kinda sad halie isnt the leader again
I never bother with religion, I just like to collect faith-money especially when there's no bonus to generating prophets.
What is the difference between pillaging and destroying the improvement if builders just use charges instead of taking time
Who the fuck wants to play as Ethiopia?
repairs don't use up charges IIRC
go back to pol
Correct
ethiopia is kino
>t. italian
It's pretty fun now with the specialist religious combat units
The Axum empire is pretty based
Seems cool, I'm glad that with this and the Maya there's legitimate reasons to go tall in Civ 6. ICS is probably still king even for these guys, but at least there's an incentive to build up small but strong.
there is literally no point playing any civ game when total war games exist unless you are a culture or sciencefag
>culture or sciencefag
you mean the only two fun victories?
t. coward who doesn't play domination
Ethiopia is a good choice for a civ, but the unique aspects of it mechanically aren't that interesting or good fits.
Though the later is true for most civ6 civs.
Tell me about Menelik. Why does he wear the hat?
looks cool
>ethio
>always first to religion
>always annoy my friends with my religion
>keep cities low so i always have stat bonus
>holy war
god i love my shitter main halie
Dude looked stylish as fuck
Total war games are the movie games of strategy games.
The TBS portion is shallow and offers very little in terms of management, worse than 4x titles and worse then grand strat titles.
The battles look nice, but are poor in gameplay, there are a lot of animated figures on the screen, but not a lot of controllable units making even the more unit sparse rts games bigger in execution, war ends up playing worse than even grand strat titles because of its stronger connection to the overall strategy of war and not just the tactics of the fight.
Looks like a very boring civ honestly. Gonna skip buying this dlc pack.
Don't like the UI. Seems like a waste when you want those tiles for industry or campus districts.
I mean, usually you haven't run out of hills or mountains, and I'm gonna guess they'll have a hill/mountain bias anyway.
anyone still play civ 5? the game gets so fucking laggy when it gets to the late game online, is this normal?
Not Haile Selassie/10
yes
>Ethiopia Empire
>cant go full dictatoral bonkers
ONE JOB
Hills are valuable for mines, the UI only produces faith. It really needs to make science/culture or some food to make it worth.
Menelik's more important to Ethiopian history overall, he modernised the country and kicked Italy's asses.
Read Menelik's ability, faith translates into science and culture.
