*double clicks*
*double clicks*
I have two of them, no double clicks or scroll wheel probs.
why does a computer mouse have to look like that
deactivated the 2 buttons left of mouse1.... if only my g400 was still alive.
I hate that i can't bind anything to the 2 buttons
Not yet, unlike the two MX518s I used to have
Mine works just fine and I've had it for over 3 years
worthless rat
>rapidly scrolls back up every time you scroll down
jokes on you loser, I bought 32 replacement switches for 30 cents from china a year and a half ago. this shit will last me until the plastic liquefies.
Just open it and clean it up user.
Then why do you have 2?
stop unlocking your scrollwheel retard
>open mouse up
>dab of wd-40 on the double-clicking switch
>works fine
i've had this piece of shit mad catz rat 5 for god knows how long and it's still holding
clicked on this image with that mouse haha that was weird :^)
*accidentally right-clicks*
it's not just a simple computer mouse, it's a gamer mouse
>*double clicks*
>slam it against the table a few times
>*no longer double clicks*
>left button becomes so sensible I can click it just by thinking about it, thus giving me a clear tactical advantage
They should come this way from the factory. I'm drowning in kills with this upgrade.
I had this shit for 13 years and it never double clicked
Maybe because he have more than one PC?
I have a MX Master, a G502, a G400 and a G500.
No problems on either.
>starts double clicking
>just put a drop of contact cleaner in the switch
>works fine again for years
Had the mouse for 5 years, never had an issue with it until gunk started blocking the scrollwheel.
Opening it was a nightmare, the weird plastic/rubber edges crumbled under the slightest pressure, the scrollwheel is inside a plastic compartment, you can't remove the wheel without breaking it, and the gunk was all stuck at the bottom with no way of removing.
In the end I just broke the button that unlocked the scrollwheel somehow.
Bought a new one.
and there is the problem
>bought a new one
you see the newer logi mice have worse Q/A
i bought a mm710 for this exact reason.
most people on Zig Forums cannot read reviews at all and does not see constant moaning and bitching on reviews last year or two about double clicking
Bought a G402 this time tho.
There is definitely something wrong with them. I used to swear by logitech but the logitech keyboard I bought about a year ago has had a couple of the keys break off (meme mechanical keyboard) and the last Logitech mouse I bought went through RMA for multiclick issues 3 times before I just sold the last RMA return to somebody else before it developed the issue. In the last two years I have gone from a Logitech peripheral exclusive guy to vowing never to buy their garbage again.
nice choice but imo i like really flexible cables and how light the mouse can be
yeah definitely and logitech barely improves,
their mice anymore outside of minor things.
i feel like they gotten too greedy.
I spent $12 on a red dragon mouse 5 years ago, same DPI settings, same weight balance, same everything. No left click problems. Still going
I just RMA'd my G703. It's annoying to have to RMA it but it's literally a free mouse every time it happens. They don't ask for it back, you just get a brand new one shipped to you.
had g402 for like 5 years now, not a single problem.
I don't even get how this could happen. After contacting support about my double clicking mouse (both mouse 4 and left click), they just said to plug it into a different port. It stopped double clicking.
What the fuck is up with this shit?
it's black magic for all i know.
it could be on their drivers or it could be they switched to cheaper switches
this still works fine. I've cleaned it recently, got to be 15 years old. my other mouse is a Corsair scimitar.
>have this exact mouse
>drop it while moving shit around on my desk today
>middle mouse is now fucked and doesn't click properly
>don't have a screwdriver small enough to open it
sucks
So this is a widespread defect? Happened to mine but I thought I just spilled beer on it. Slamming it down on my desk fairly hard fixed it and has been working fine since.
it's been a issue for atleast a year now,
most people bought logi mice without thinking or looking at reviews because they're good ol reliable.
but something happened in Q/A or their drivers have turned terrible or both.
My g600 started having problems registering left clicks and they basically told me to fuck off
problem with these knockoff mice is extremely cheap build quality, creaking plastics, shitty feet and mystery meat sensors
Was it under warranty?
The entire process for me was basically
>hey my mouse don't click good
>ok send us a vid of you clicking it on a double click site, then send us a pdf of your invoice
>ok mouse shipped, enjoy
If this new one doubleclicks, i'll essentially have 3 G703 with an arguably easy-to-fix problem.
clearly defined edges makes the every button location 'feel' different, you won't mistake one area for another.
