>The Sun has fallen out of orbit and is going to crash into the Earth. Humanity has randomly chosen people to enter an underground nuclear shelter with enough food and provisions for the next 50 years until the Earth is habitable again, luckily you were picked. >You are allowed to bring one video game with you.
>The sun has fallen out of orbit the sun is not in orbit >and is going to crash into the Earth a nuclear bomb shelter is not going to help you survive when the planet the bomb shelter is on is utterly wiped out

>The sun has fallen out of orbit and is going to crash into the Earth
Before I would say Civ5, but somehow grew out of the civ franchise and games with bots seem very much the same and non interesting.
Total war is cool because the campaigns are different and combat will always be reasonably fun.
But I guess the game I would want to take would have some great editing tools and the ability to create maps and mod the shit. Maybe something like Super Mario Maker but not bing bing wahoo.

I wanted to get into games with good replayability like Roguelike, 4X, Strategy because of this scenario. But fuck me those genres are boring as fuck. I'd choose a game that features building stuff i.e an engineering game like Besiege, FtD but more properly simulated and more detailed in building material and tools. Maybe in 50 years I'll figure out how to build a rocket irl and get off the god forsaken planet.
