cringe plastic rectangle. original ds was peak aestetics, and nintendon't ruined it

New 3DS XL Hyrule Edition, hacked
playing SMT IV and Fire Emblem Awakening
got a 3DS on launch and played for about a week so I've the whole catalogue to enjoy

new 2ds xl master race

It feels like a toy compared to the N3DSXL

I have the black N3DSXL. The top screen has a collection of dead pixels about the size of a pencil eraser, so I ordered a replacement screen, and it should be here monday. Semi-nervous, as I've never attempted any repairs like this before.

do injected gba games not have ghosting?

I own a N3DSXL cobalt blue.
I don't like the nub on the right, it's too stiff. ;_;

im thinking of picking up a used model and hacking it. Should I get the OG for like $50 or try to get one of those ''new! 3ds xl'' shits. Also hows GBA emulation on it?

You can inject gba roms into CIA, pretty easy. Been playing ff2 on my new 2ds XL, shit is great and runs well.

Playing Chrono Trigger for the first time

Get a refurbished New 3DSXL from the Nintendo store for $119. I can't tell the difference between Nintendo Refurnished and Brand New

Poorfag here, should i get new 2ds now or save up for switch ?

I’m playing Samus Returns and Metroid Fusion. I’ve got a virgin N3DSXL and a modded N2DSXL that I got from Walmart for $99. Now I want to mod the N3DSXL.

Get a new 2DS for $99 at Walmart.com, hack it, and then you have access to 3DS, DS, GBA, etc

I have more fun with my 3DS since i only play mario kart 8 on the switch also you can hack the 2DS/3DS

Do you prefer the N3DSXL or the N2DSXL?

I had an original 3DS in the past but now I have a New Nintendo 3DS XL. The game I play the most on it as of late is Mario Tennis Open.

I'm a guy and not gay

I've got the persona Q 3DSXl

I think I’m gonna play CT next. DS version is definitive. I’ve got CC on my SD card too for PCSX rearmed. I tried it out for an hour or so. It’s mostly full speed but it drops to the 40s on occasion like at the start of battles. Or when you open the menu since the menu is higher res. It wouldn’t bother me but the sound starts to stutter whenever it happens. I could play it on one of my PSPs where it basically runs perfect but I like having all this stuff on a single device and it runs good enough

I own a N2DS XL pokeball edition. Want to buy a N3DS but no retailer in my part of EU (southeast) has a N3DS in stock anymore.

I think they're discontinued and all gone user

Their refurbs are basically new. This is currently the only affordable way to get a basically new N3DSXL. They’ve got N2DSXL for $99 and 2DS for $49. Walmart’s online store has had new turquoise N2DSXL with MK7 for $99 in and out of stock for over a month. But only that color

that's the best colour for them though
>tfw had to get purple and silver

That black/turquoise is bush league

Hacked 2DS/3DS (especially the “New” models) have a lot more utility than a Switch. I like my Switch but I’ve been playing my 3DS a lot more. It natively runs DS obviously but it also natively runs GBA games without emulation. They look and sound perfect. Well, the ones with GBC sound channels might sound a little off under a microscope but that was also true on the DS phat and lite and GBA micro

I have a N2DSXL, N3DS, 3DSXL, a DSi XL, and a DS Lite currently. I haven't touched them in months.

I prefer the N3DSXL. It’s a little larger and feels heavier but it just feels more solid and the glossy finish is less of a fingerprint and scratch magnet. The N2DSXL just feels cheaper but some say it doesn’t cramp their hands in long play sessions as much.

I like the 3D on too. The super stable 3D makes the 3D a lot better than it was on the original 3DS. Samus Returns looks like a different game in 2D because the 3D has so much depth. It looks better too but that could just be the sharpness from having square pixels (2D mode doubles the horizontal pixels on the N2DSXL like turning off 3D on a 3DS)

Just get a refurb from Nintendo, they’re $120 and they’re basically like new. It’s been discontinued for almost two years and all the surplus Galaxy edition stock got bought up around the Midwest in Corona panic

I have a N3dsXL, I played SMTIV a couple of days ago, great game but too long, I just defeated Asmodeus

Where can I find a working copy of FE warriors? My copy freezes at loading screen.

o3DSXL, started playing SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked this week. I played through a bit of the original game but got filtered by something mid game. Now I'm coming back to the game after playing through a few other SMT/Persona games. I don't remember MP costs being this high...

I have the Hylian New 2DS XL model since it looks the best and been playing Mario Kart 7 with hacks.
The online community is still alive after 8 years, which is shocking.

Can the switch play 3ds/ds games yet user?

You can play Citra on a hacked Switch.
