if you're too lazy and lack enough testosterone to watch the animated series, just watch the animated movie that lazily throws together the first 3 arcs only with way more blood and gore. That movie will put hair on your asshole and your face and your chest.

As for Lost Paradise, it's amazing. the minigames are all really fun, the combat is fun, there's a good chunk of content, only issue is the city is pretty small so it begins to feel claustrophobic by the end despite all the different wacky shit to do.

If you have a working last gen system you can check out Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage which is a pretty fun Dynasty Warriors game. Avoid the second one, it's garbage despite the bigger roster.

I'm playing Fallout 1 and I made this dude. I need grenades but I treat that stuff like Hokuto no Ken bullshit. I gave myself high special stats (for unarmed only) but turned luck to 1 because Kenshiro is always finding bullshit his path.

You can absolutely get into the game without but you should at least watch the movie to get a small introduction to some of the characters and because it's fun and manly as fuck.

Also keep in mind for the TV series the only thing worth watching are the first 109 episodes, which are Fist of the North Star 1.
Fist of the North Star 2 was garbage aside from 2 characters and wasn't even supposed to happen, Shonen Jump pressured the creators into making more when they had made an ending.

There is an OVA series called New Fist of the North Star (Shin Hokuto No Ken) that is based on a novel by the creators, the story is eh but the violence is insane.

Also if you don't want to bother with the 109 episodes, there's an abridged OVA series called Legends of the True Savior that's like 5 movies. I don't really like it as aside from Thouser who was improved they change a lot of people's characterizations for the worse.

It's much faster paced and has way more juggling and bigger crowds of enemies. also enemies meatsplode.
it's less of a small scale street brawl feeling than Yakuza has.
