Nothing in her first dialogue implies she's up to no good. And letting her be killed would ruin the story. And even if you could attack her she'd easily sweep your whole party at that point so not only would it spoil the story but it wouldn't achieve anything meaningful.

Throne of Bhaal as a whole was all over the place. The main story parts of it were mostly pretty crap, both in terms of the story and just playing through them. The boss fights were fun enough, though (especially with Ascension). The side stuff was nice, too.

It’s totally not suspect that she gathered all the bhaalspawn together and it’s totally not suspicious that she flits around always always one step ahead always knowing what you’re up to.
And then they don’t even give you a single dialogue option, NOT ONE, at the end that lets you say it was obvious she was up to no good. Jesus Christ it would have been better it they just had you fight some for of bhaal at the end. I’m never playing this game again because of how bad this shit was.

Throne of bhaal was a bigger travesty than mass effect and yet no one actually talks about. Mass effect was always pretty bad throughout most of its life. Baldurs gate on the other hand had much farther to fall, which makes it that much worse. I just have to pretend it doesn’t exist.
