squad does have that in some form though? They removed the dumb if-player-revived-two-minutes-ago => dead dead and replaced it with a system where if you don't get fully healed by a medic your time window for a revive increasingly goes down.
If you get shot by 9mm you might have 5 minutes, get shot in the head with 5.56 you might have 2 minutes. Get shot again a medic only has 40 seconds, IEDs have 5 seconds and are basically instant death.

No, I'm a buttblasted infantry player. If jets were only used to take out armor I would have no issue with them. Walking for five minutes to get shot by some guy prone in a bush is bad enough, but at least I have a chance of seeing that guy and shooting him first, or if it's a tank I can try and maneuver around it. Getting killed by a jet is terribly unfun.

i just dont get why post scriptum is a much more detailed and feature ready game although development started when squad was at alpha 10 which is already nearly 2 years ago

What you're describing could only happen if there were planes but nothing to counter them. Give infantry short-range MANPADs and now attacking infantry becomes too much risk for too little payoff.

You DO realize the PR has anti air kits, right?

to bad that it runs like absolute ass. i also think the pacing is weird because you have the speed and mobility of cod while the weapons are somewhat sluggish and mega deadly. could be just my taste but these dont go well.

Because it plays like a meatgrinder. The zerg-rush strategy is way too viable and the firefights usually boil down to point and click shooting.

Squad's suppression consist of several things.
>Vignette visual effect. This gives you a sort of tunnelvision.
>Blur visual effect. The blur effect does not occur in the middle of the screen where you actually aim with your weapon.
>Chromatic aberration visual effect. This is one of the few cases where this effect is acceptable imo.
>Weapon sway. When you are suppressed you get a weapon sway similar to being out of stamina.
I would much rather they changed the weapon sway with the flinch effect you have in Post Scriptum.

It's actually quite easy to take out an mg in Squad.

squad threads are always full of people complaining about things that were changed years ago its nothing new

It's probably partly due to Squad devs having to work on engine issues a lot, while Post Scriptum devs inherit that work and can thus focus more on the game design issues.
There is also the fact that Squad has strayed off the path of being a successor to Project Reality.

Played it a few months ago, that middle east huge valley with a river inbetween two raised sections.
RUS vs US, they were entreched between the RUS main and the first cap and anihilated all attempts to push through or eliminate the burgers. We had BMPs, BTRs and MTLBs and footmen killed as soon as they got 200m from main.

The fact it gets shilled this much kinda proves why no one should play it
