Is the genre dead? I loved playing this and Epic Pinball. Are there any good pinball games nowadays?

Yeah this one is still unsurpassed.
Games? Idk probably
Irl pinball? Yeah there's a lot, lot of barcades in my area have them ranging from generic fantasy to licensed stuff like Simpsons pinballs machines.
>my school used to have pinball competitions on Friday and whoever scored the highest won a free drink from the vending machine
>didn't know about the "hidden test" secret back then
bros i couldve been reaping those gatorades.......
Pinout is really fucking good, 10/10 music. Worth a buy, but you can play for free (you just don't get level checkpoints).
grab a pc-engine emulator
play devil's crush

come back and apologize
>Pinout
Okay thanks. I was looking at the Pinbal FX series, that seems like a lot of content but looks also expensive. Any good stuff there?
Realistic pinball video games are just a waste of potential, you can do all sort of things you can't do in actual pinball machines
Something like pokemon pinball or Kirby's Pinball Land is the way to go at least when it comes to video games. But still it doesn't seem like it's explored fully. They could have monsters walking on the table and doing weird shit fucking with your ball and shit like that
I feel like this genre could be successful in mobile. Has there been any good mobile pinball games?
SOUL
This guy said Pinout and that's for android. Dunno how well does this translate to mobile tho, I would miss having some physical buttons to press.
Yeah but that's what people are going for. I guess that some tables in the FX Series are unrealistic, like there's a Portal table with Portals and lasers, Chell running around and a mini pinbal table in it from the looks of it. Didn't look much at the other tables but even the free one at least has some cool visual effects.
Man I remember playing the Star Wars Ep 1 pinball machinge in a hotel once, that shit had AR, movie clips and audio and a fucking lightsaber duel minigame in it, it was amazing.
There's a recent game that's basically an RPG but with pinball, it's basically what you describe. Forgot the name, though.
Roller of the Realm? That's from 2014.
space cadet is a shareware version of a full game with multiple machines
Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire I liked.
Of course OP's pic is also great.
big if true
Maxis did it? Incredible.
Was going to post this, based.
Back off fags

Psycho pinball was the shit
Nigger, fuck you. 3-D Ultra Thrill Ride Pinball is a better pinball game in every single way you utter fucking plebian.
Reminds me of DEMON'S TILT.
Yeah, there's a bunch of paid and free solutions for playing pinball digitally. I haven't touched the hobby in awhile but I know that there's licensed versions that are made by Stern that have some level of quality to them. You can usually buy these in bundles. There's also free solutions that include homebrew machines and people making clones of machines. These are available on mobile and PC and actually aren't bad for practicing rulesets on mobile for tournaments.
I don't really know any software other than Zen and I don't think it's even available anymore. Check Pinside or ask on the Pinball subreddit (>reddit) for specifics.
Pic related, my favorite machine.
This was good. I recall a Metroid one was made as well.
Played this shit at my Grandmas house when she got a new PC.
It really was great
>he doesn't know about the greatest pinball game ever made
PC gamers gotta play more games.
Those this game have any DEEPEST LORE. There has to be a story behind that space cadet.
yes, the lore behind space cadet is it's a small part of another pinball game entirely and is not developed by microsoft. that's it.
Pokemon Pinball was fun as fuck too, but its physics were off.
Built-in rumble was neat.
Fun game, but I never got far from sucking so bad. Pinball is very unforgiving.
I don't know about video pinball, but real pinball has deep as fuck lore.
Pinball Arcade is good tho. What's not to like? Or was OP talking about the lack of fictional pinball games?
