It actually filters out boomers past their prime. They lack the reaction time and quick thinking to build properly.

Fortnite is a game that, even though I'm a zoomer, really feel is wasted potential.

Because there's a lot more shit to do in a single round of Fortnite than just gunning for the #1 spot, so a majority of people don't get sweaty about being da bes.

Free to play, not to mention the female characters, a lot of people play it not even to win. Just to fuck around and talk with random ass people or with friends. I stopped playing it years ago.

Building is an inherently casual mechanic that was adopted to fit a more agressive playstyle because the epic devs didn't foresee it being used that way. Then it was unbalanced by turbo building and the game never recovered

It doesn't. You don't "git gud" at building. You spam a button while moving the camera back and forth. That's it. That's how you build a lot.

Agreed. The game was super fun to play at its early stages. Building a fort with a squad was fun, and so was defending it against the last 2-3 teams. Now it's just turbo building autism

I would genuinely play this game if it wasn't for that, like if there was 5 second cooldown on building stuff or if you couldn't walk on it if its not fully build, that kind of shit

The charged shotgun sounds like ass. I get that it was supposed to fill in the hole left by the pump, but the sound from the shot is so lame I never want to use it. What happened to the epic and up shotgun that was supposed to be an inbetween for pump and tac?
