Is it just me or now alt-tabbing is even more fucked than before? When I do it I get weird screen resolutions, the mouse icon swaps in Windows is the same as Worms and I can't click anything. I have to wait something like 5 minutes when it decides to work again because the task manager is fucked too

If you still have D3D9Wnd on your folder you should delete it, that probably will help with the alt tabbing problem.
