I cannot prove you wrong because it is a matter of subjective analysis. It is objectively a "good" game because it is functional, with very few if any unavoidable fail states and an achievable win state. There is considerable production value. The plot likes to jump around but not in any capacity not already accepted in narrative. There's a fair variety in features, weapons, enemies, and locales, as well as twice as long as a run time as the original. That could be considered twice the "true value" but it will still be up to the beholder.
