This is the best Pokemon game for people who are actually good at Pokemon.
Pokemon is a vgc competitive game now. Not single player story driven.

Then just play Showdown and save the $60.

You can't enter tournaments or breed your own Pokemon on showdown.

I breed all my Pokemon. Winning with your own personalized team feels more rewarding.

Running back and forth on a bike for 100 hours shouldn't be considered gameplay

Then capture the pokemon you want to use. Using a save editor removes all sense of accomplishment. You may as well press a "Win" button.

I just wish the red parts on Runerigus looked more like they were carved into the rock instead of looking painted on.

Same, but this is modern gamefreak, they could give two shits less about putting actual time and effort into little details.

You can do max raids to get exp items while you wait for eggs to hatch. Then you can use those to level 100 and hyper train pokemon who arent easy to breed.
Then you just go wreck Koreans on ranked its great

Well. Good news. You can reset EVs and according to a leak change abilities in the upcoming DLC. Oh and also train up IVs too.

I think in the most recent games you can fix IVs, EVs and abilities with in-game items, so you don't need to breed as autistically as before. I'm not 100% sure though since I always only play the main game and then battle on showdown.

You realize that you can change the nature and IVs on any pokemon is SwordShield right? You can make your shinies have perfect stats and nature.

Dynamax is a fucking stupid gimmick and I hate it but this is a pretty cool design.

for a UK region, there should have been more dragons - literally the only type with half-decent designs in pokemon. Shame recent ones have been so shit. That and steel are the only ones with kind of cool designs.

Dynamax adds so much strategy to double battles. Double battles in Pokemon competitive have never been more lot.
When Tundra comes out with every legendary that exists and they release legendary only ranked tiers its gonna be even more lit.
