5 is the worst mainline RE game. 6 is flawed of course but 5 is just awful in every single regard.

Merceneries is fun but the campaigns are still awful to playthrough

You can completely adjust the camera, and your characters position relative to it (when aiming AND shooting) so you just confirmed you didn't play.

I don't know, I started it up and 55 minutes later I still hadn't been able to draw my weapon against one zombie because of the cinematic bullshit so I never played it again.

I beat the 4 campaigns because I was eager to getting the platinum, couldn't help dropping it because of how shit it was
and no, you can't adjust the annoying "free" camera that makes you look at the floor all the time

I hated it the first time I played. Picked Leon first. My friend and I got an hour in and dropped it as garbage. A year later I picked it up for myself on a sale and now I've got a hundred or so hours in it. I suppose Leon is a shit introduction. So much awful in that first hour. Maybe someone found the college area scary. Maybe that person was also a humongous pussy.

I really didn't think it was that bad. Combat was engaging and some situation are such bullshit you can't help but have fun.

legit 3/10 game like 3 of the scenarios were complete ass and the one that wasn't (leon's) still sucked cock.
