2020...I am Forgotten
I never liked how zoomed in it was for the camera
felt sick playing for more than hour
it had a black person
I liked it a lot. I have no real reason to go back to it any time after 100%ing it last year. I'm glad I waited to play it post lootbox update so my expectations weren't soured. I hope more games implement a Nemesis type system in the future.
Were you still an unstoppable killing machine before the mid-point in the story like in the first game?
It came out 3 years ago faggot
Very solid games, worked from an angle basically no other LOTR games (or games set in Tolkien-derivative series) went for.
Absolutely shittershattered that the only other game to even think of adding the Nemesis System after everyone praised SoW for it was fucking Warframe.
>I hope more games implement a Nemesis type system in the future.
Wasn't there a recent game that had a Nemesis-style system?
>Were you still an unstoppable killing machine before the mid-point in the story like in the first game?
Nah, the RPG-elements keep the game more challenging to an extent
is that a problem?
combat and running around the areas was so fun if only it weren't tied to lotr and the creators could make their own thing.
Yo mama had a black person
elf ghosts
horrid combat
makes no sense in the lore
yeah, forgotten indeed
>Wasn't there a recent game that had a Nemesis-style system?
Not that I know of. Xcom 2's War Of The Chosen Expansion does a pseudo Nemisis system with the Chosen, but their strengths and weaknesses aren't influenced by your interactions with them.
>if only it weren't tied to lotr and the creators could make their own thing
Maybe that's what Monolith are working on next
Odyssey's..."captains" ? I think, vut nothing as polished as ME:SOW Nemesis
yeah I think it was maybe Odyssey.

Huh, actually playing through this now after the summer sale. Ranged enemies are really fucking annoying when you get swarmed.
Apart from him being in a relationship with a blonde haired blue eyed white woman (who told him to fuck off in the storyline), I didn't have a problem with Baranor
>training up orc because he looks cool and has a nice gimmick
>randomly betrays me
Around orc, keep your corks.
I just thought they were friends
Odyssey didn't really have a Nemesis system. You could capture any random chucklefuck for your ship, but they were just some randomized stats strapped to a randomized name, with the model of the guy you captured. The mercenary system was the same, but with copy pasted descriptions on them as well, and the Cult of Kosmos was predetermined and didn't change between playthroughs.
Harder to enjoy if you have Tolkien induced autism, but a good enough game in itself. Until the end grind, that is. And don't ever forget about the fucking loot boxes
I think it was implied that they were childhood sweethearts, but that's all.
Would have been better as the Batman game that the Nemesis system was actually designed for, but yeah, I enjoyed it well enough.
>I'm not afraid of no stinkin' caragor!
>*brings a caragor with me*
>Look out! it's a caragor!
I guess you could say Baranor was the... Tolkien black guy.
I don't remember anything about the human characters or their role in the story. I imagine that it's less about my memory, and more about them being fucking boring. Celebrimbor and Talion are pretty cool, though. Even if their union completely shits on the lore
No it wouldn't.
Was it actually designed for a Bamham game?
No, they nerfed the player's abilities and force you to choose between certain powers in the unlock tree instead of having every ability at once. It's more challenging than the first game and the late game captains honestly get pretty fucking tedious to fight.
shut the fuck up carlos
bough this shit, what difficulty should i choose?
Brutal
I don't know for sure, but that's what I gathered from a lot of hearsay. Not just around Zig Forums, there was some chatter on reddit and an article or two that I read.
I don't need retarded fags on Zig Forums to make threads about a good game, I'll enjoy it in peace instead
Xcom 2 has a version of the nemesis system
Brutal. It makes you weaker, but a little stronger than Nemesis, and also makes the enemies less spongey. If you find you're not enjoying it, lower the difficulty, just not to Nemesis.
Honestly just don't play on Nemesis.
It wasn't.
You may be thinking of the gay-ass Warframe update.
I still remember SoM, played it through 3 times.
SoW I got bored after the 4th stronghold, I heard the grind was even worse after that. They really didn't deliver on their promises.
Kek
>I heard the grind was even worse after that
They fixed that, changed the whole game actually with a big patch, getting rid of the grind.
Idril is pretty cute, friendship with Baranor not withstanding
Fuck berserkers, fuck epic rage, and fuck no chance
kys carlos
thanks
This never happens in the game by the way
yes it does
prove it nerd, I will call you a tranny
Worst $8 I've ever spent
>be tough orc captain
>be not afraid of stinking caragors
>gravewalker pussy comes along with a caragor
>warn my mates that he's got a caragor, tell them to look out
>gravewalker pussy acts like a retard on variag chariot racing forum about it
Sauron damned fucking Tark shrakheads
prove it dosent
god damn it, i knew it was coming but god damn it carlos...
And he was the best character. The DLC where you play as him is fun as hell.
>get mission to break up a duel between two orcs
>zooms in on one
>INSIGNIFICANT
>zooms in on the other
>AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Orcs make me laugh
