the biggest thing to me about this game is that they removed all mentions of gravure idol and changed an entire chapter because of it in the process making a main character stupider. if I'm playing this shit to learn about different aspects of idol culture why the fuck would I want content like that changed even if it is ""problematic""

the japanese version of the Wii U game is uncensored and you can uncensor the US version through homebrew.
The switch version is censored in all regions and you can't uncensor it through hacking.

Me, too, user. I was incredibly wary of this game and laughed at the reveal trailer. But when it launched on Wii U I bought it and really, really enjoyed it. So much fun and the presentation is great. More fun than I could have imagined. Haven't double dipped on Switch yet, but I plan to at some point to check out the new stuff.

I honestly wouldn't recommend buying it unless you can find it used at a much lower price. The new content isn't worth full price.

I figured as much, never really imagined it would be worth re-buying day one for. I just like the game and I've been itching for a replay and figured the Switch version would be a good excuse.
