ITT we help each other identify games we've played but can't remember the name of. I am particularly good with old (pre-Steam) PC games.
ITT we help each other identify games we've played but can't remember the name of...
It was a game i think on a handheld maybe (3ds or ps vita) where you defended a town i think. You could place towers im pretty sure, thats all I remember. Was probably a japanese game
black and white shooter
Not fps or tps
Good thread OP. There was a game in the 90's... that was realistic to the point where if you got shot you went down. I can't remember the name at all... back then we were playing Quake, Team Fortress (not that cartoon shit fags today rave about, the OG TF), Half Life.... fuck I can't remember the name of that game.
There was one of those marble rolling games for the pc, like marble blast. I remember you could get the marble wet on blue water tiles, roll the marble over brown dirt tiles, and flowers would grow.
There was this one game, I can't quite remember it, but it was called Super Mario Party
old game where you evolved weird creatures
I think it was an RTS
hatred?
lol
Older than that
You didn't shoot humans
it was some kind of old fantasy strategy game. I have a vague memory of there being these different planes of existence in it, one was like a hell plane, one was this forest fairy plane.
this was all viewed from an aerial view, like you were looking top down into these little planes of existence.
math game where you launched a rocket by solving simple equations quickly
one of many different minigames
another one was a shooting gallery with ducks
That pc game with a yellow blob with eyes and limbs character, you had vehicles and weapons I liked to spawn in create a map to check out
Heroes of might and magic
You didn't evolve them and it was Impossible Creatures.
Or you did and it was Spore
math blaster
you would think so but no
ive searched a lot for it in the past
it was an old game that felt really ethereal and dreamy. it was 2D and it had something to do with exploring a long lost world or maybe it was ancient earth or something
might have been either an rpg or an adventure game
What setting? I remember an old vietnam shooter that was just like that
It was made in unity, an openworld?hentai game.
You start as a dude in a forest, find a maid in a castle. You fight girls and add them to your party after defeating them.
I played it like 5 years ago and I have no clue what it's name is or if it was ever released out of it's alpha/beta stage.
Postal
Skyrim
Kerbal Space Program
Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom (they remastered it, check it out!)
Super Mario 63
>You could place towers im pretty sure
Do you mean the Tower Defence genre, LOL? If so it sound like Gotta Protectors:
I'd fucking recognize SpongeBob you donut
It has some random shitty pc mascotte name like Berb, Blorb, Bort
Early 2000s arena shooter except it was bows/swords/magic
Action HL or Action Quake?
point and click adventure game about a prehistorical ancient world
Enclave?
Eden from cryo interactive?
There was this game I played on the PC, I think it was a CD-ROM game, but I can't be too sure. This must've been between 2000-2003. It was a motorcycle racing game, and I remember this map with hot air balloons and a massive jump, and another level with a harbor or something.
Nah it was all in first person and literally an arena shooter like quake or UT but in a fantasy setting with medieval weapons and magic, played a demo as a kid and stuck with me to this day but can't remember what it was
Oblivion
Grim Fandango
Mx vs ATV Unleashed
Wheel of time?
Pretty dope if it is, its an amazing game. great OST.
>Eden from cryo interactive
yeah this is it, thanks m8
Cryo games were jank, but had amazing music.
Atlantis the lost tales is still my go to comfy 90s game.
No, that wasn't it. I was a game where you had to actually wrap your wounds when you got shot. It might have been a DLC. Damn I wish I could remember it.
I mean like this shit
Its pure undiluted 90s

You mean Hexen 2? If so you should have said it had single player.
I am not sure if it's SNES or sega genesis but I played a platformer where the main character is a squirrel, and I remember there was some kind of world map/stage selection screen.
You play a protagonist who's forced to crossdress to progress the story, extremely poorly acted anime cutscenes, bad combat, empty open world, shit graphics and poor framerate.
8-Bit flash game that revolves around a clipper (Or something resembling one since its 8-bit) that jumps over obstacles
it's a game where you go back in time and explore earth when it was all jungles. I think you start in a car and go back in a sort of back to the future kind of thing. pretty sure it's a side scroller. main character is a blonde white guy in a beige jacket I think but it might be red.
Some gay educational game set in egyptian ruins. I think you had to answer math problems or something stupid like that in order for the plot to advance
Snowboarding game.
Played on laptop around 2008
Game came with laptop and was a bloatware where you could play the first couple levels but had to buy the game to play the rest.
>About the game
Race down track while doing stunts
Both stunts and what place you were in counted toward your points.
Remember it had a lot of neon lights. At night for all of them I think.
ff7
BOTW
Wait...do you mean a single player action adventure game? If so I know which one you mean, I just need to find the name (which won't take long) You explore an alien planet you've crashed on and have an anatomical diagram of your body and it's wounds, you splint broken bones, pick out bullets and shrapnel with tweezers etc
>Mx vs ATV Unleashed
nah, not from the right time period
Some old pc game I played like 20 years ago where you're a cop infiltrating some kind of cult. You have to do quests for people and I remember there being different coloured keys, and a gun. The game is played in third person birdseye view and when you talk to people text pops up along with a picture of their face.
Nobody has ever been able to tell me this game in all these threads.
Yeah, that was it.
SimLife
>Eden from cryo interactive
any idea where I can download this? can't find it on piratebay
Timez attack?
I remember a top down beat em up game where you play as a kid beating up ghost pinatas in a haunted mansion to save a girl. I remember having it on a 2 disc collection alongside a dracula point and click
nah it was an old one, a dos game i think
Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, it was out on both systems:
No idea. Just search around its abandonware I am sure.
Cryo went under when sadly adventure gaming was going down as well.
You can find Myst games easily but cryo is hard.
I did find Atlantis some years back in some random blog.
