Reminder that if you hate the water temple you are a shitter.
I hated the water temple in OoT. I hated the water temple in MM. I ABSOLUTELY HATED the water temple in TP. It's like they got some guy at nintendo saying "hey dude don't forget to make the water temple as obnoxious and difficult to traverse as possible, since it's the token awful temple of the series".
Reminder that (you)
Beat master quest this week (again) and the water temple is weak as fuck. There's no real difficulty to it outside of the dark link fight.
I'll rate the temples based on my personal feeling of difficulty and enjoyment
Forest Temple > Spirit Temple > Fire Temple > Shadow Temple > Water Temple
Kid link would be
Belly > Deku > Dodongo
forest temple has great atmosphere and I like the spirit temple because I want to fuck the gerudo
hot
Temple design in Zelda peaked with Eagle's Tower.
The Spirit Temple and Ancient Tomb are good, and the Forest Temple could have been a contender if the dungeon was setup so that the Poe's could have been gotten in different orders.
Otherwise, most 3D dungeons since MM have been shit (even MM only has Stone Temple as a decent dungeon, and it's only decent at best), and 2D dungeons since Ages have been laughably basic.
Zelda has never had good dungeons. Never.
The puzzles and battles within each dungeon are so absurdly easy that beating them is more like a chore..
>hates the dungeons that do the most with 3D spatial reasoning
Cool.
what if zelda was a girl
Spirit Temple is objectively the greatest Zelda dungeon of all time.
Spatial reasoning is hard for low IQ normies, people love WW's retard dungeons and hate its one slightly complicated one.
its not about smartness or immersion anymore.
its about timewasting for very young children
third worlders and brownies have trouble with spatial reasoning. since games have proliferated to the lower classes, they were forced to dumb down the content.
Wind Temple only sucks because Makar's an absolute drag to play as. Otherwise, it's actually a decent dungeon. Fucking escorts.
also this.
vidya is a babysitter now.
>best theme
>best puzzles
>best boss
God it really can't do wrong
don't tell me this wasn't fucking great
Kek not that guy, but holy shit as a kid I actually did have issues with this that I can recall now; I actually don't feel that way anymore, but the reason I hate those dungeons is because of how easily you can get sucked into the wrong room and it takes a full minute or two to get back to where you wanna go in MM and in TP, I guess I just hated that one tall room with the spinning staircase as a teenager, but when replaying it the temple was so short and a lot easier than I remembered.
It seriously can do no wrong. I loved that you completed one bit in the past so you could complete the rest in the future.
The music is seriously one of, if not the best, dungeon theme in any zelda game

Gives you a great sense of mystical wonder in the giant desert colossus.
besides the stone tower
Skyward Sword had the best temples tho.
EH REH
That's a great one too. The melancholy and dread of that entire area was fucking awesome. Peak atmosphere. Flipping the world upside down made my young mind shit a brick.
The whole game was good except for Fi holding your hand the whole time. Hopefully Nintendo will remake the game while keeping her quiet.
Hahaha ha
No.
TP had the best dungeons in terms of aesthetics
The only reason brainlets had a problem with this temple is because they couldn't fathom a tunnel existing under one of the floating blocks in the central tower. Maybe if dumbfuck millenial kids had've taken a minute to actually explore instead of waiting for the game to point out what to do this temple wouldn't be such an infamous pleb filter.
One of the top ten dungeons in the whole series.
Reminder if you like water levels ever, you're a shitter (and probably a shit dev who thinks themselves clever for making shit people don't like because muh elements).
It's too hard.
Nah. The temple sucks because it's:
>play zeldas lullaby 15 times
>equip iron boots
>unequip boots
You spend more time standing still or in the menu than you do actually playing
>ou spend more time standing still or in the menu than you do actually playing
and yet Botw gets praised as the best game evarr for its menu hell
Agreed. There was only technically one temple, being the Temple of Time.
The rest felt lived in, like OoT Forest Temple but the whole game.
>That mansion coming in to view at Snowpeak
>The whole game was good except for Fi holding your hand the whole time.
And the backtracking
And the imprisoned fights
And the repetitive busy work to get into temples
And the endless key hunting
And the fetch quests
And the ugly characters
And the boring story
And the horribly long intro
And the empty nothing of skyworld
And the gimmicky janky motion controls that turned everything into "swipe horizontally or vertically"
But yeah aside from that it's a good game
Not sure what that has to do with OOT but I also thought that was a drag. I was more answering why I and many others think the water temple sucks.
Here's how to make it great, because design wise it is really cool:
>instead of the lullaby you hit switches with your bow
>iron boots can be equipped as a sub item
If you had to play zeldas lullaby more than 6 times you're a certifiable brainlet. If you equipped the iron boots more than 12 times you're a certifiable brainlet.
That still totals to 18 times standing still doing the same thing. Not sure what you're proving here. It's fucking repetitive.
>hootshotable nipples
so fucking based.
