shut the fuck up retard

>game makes a yuge deal about horabu versus dick ass ninja
>doesn't actually affect the narrative any

>he doesnt know

Loved him for that. Then he does break his code anyway. Shit game.
I wish they kept everything about the world and combat but went more like Way of the Samurai 3 when it comes to "honor" and making choices.

KHOTUN KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

I AM JIN SAKAI

NEPHEW OF LORD SHIMURA

I HAVE COME TO AVENGE HIS HONOR

The whole ghost/ninja stealth thing is the biggest issue holding this game back. If the code for stealth and ninja weapons was straight up deleted the game would improve in quality by a mile. Then there's little fixes for bugs and it needs a tad harder difficulty.
But the game is solid. I am just dissapointed S*ny didn't invest in it as much as tlou2.
Could you imagine if they actually forced Kojimbo to write and direct a short story and pumped more money into the missions and ai variety. This would be a 10/10 which is why the game desperately recquires a sequel or a spinoff. More historical suckerpunch games could be a serious threat to low quality asscreed and finally kill that franchise.

>MONGOLS

MY FAMOLY HONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR

I don't get why they felt like a Samurai game needed stealth. Like, come on. They aren't even known for making stealth game so you can't say it's them falling back to what they know how to do well.

You know, for a studio that only made a total of 4 game series, these fuckers really know how to make them dramatically different from each other

>Rocket Robot on Wheels
>Sly Cooper
>Infamous
>Ghost of Tsushima

>I don't get why they felt like a Samurai game needed stealth
Because they mindlessly copied asscreed

Yeah, I get that but still. Copy the map system, it's fine. Crafting? Sure. Skills? I guess. But the STEALTH??

>They aren't even known for making stealth game
Are you having a giggle?

Im not against how they did stealth. I think its not as rewarding as playing as Chad the Samurai tho. That and you get the best looking stealth armor towards the end of the game.

That's a whole different kind of stealth. I'd call them more adventure-stealth than the "shitty ubisoft style" stealth that they tried to copy. So that's still clearly not their thing. And it shows, the stealth system in the game is ass.

>That's a whole different kind of stealth
but it -is- stealth. you can't just go pretending like they aren't known for stealth.

Rolling around with the Kensei armor as ronin is based

Yeah, but it's the linear almost "puzzle" style approach to stealth, not the open-world one. There's not the same genre of stealth at all. And it was clearly half-ass making it even more of a "why even bother".

you're moving goal posts

>he walks into the nightclub and says "FACE ME COWARD"
what do?

No, you're just too dense to understand a very basic idea.

>Yeah, but it's ... stealth
I accept your concession.

To a mainstream audience Ninja is basically the polar opposite of Samurai, killing in the shadows without honor versus honorable paladin-level posturing regardless of the lives that could be saved if you were stealthy.

It's the character's own personal morality system, but instead of GOOD vs BAD it's HONOR BUT DANGER vs DISHONOR BUT EFFECTIVE

Did Japanese people invent honor?

No, but how important it was (and somewhat still is, to a lesser extent) to their society is something else.

No, honor was a jewish invention to discourage more effective means of handling conflict.

Doesn't he break the code repeatedly with ninja tools and stealth kills?

should have committed seppuku after he failed his lord anyway, no reason to not break the code at this point

Yes

Yes thats literally the point of the story and what the ending focuses on

As long as both are alive, he hasn't failed him yet.

that fucking ending made me cry no matter what choice you pick

suduku ending would have been pure kino and one of a kind. No other game ever ended with suduku

Imagine a good game where you had the choice to live in honor or not, with multiple ending depending on how you played the game. You know, like ... Way of the Samurai. But with a good budget. Why is no one doing that ffs.

no, but east asian cultures in general care a lot more about things like honor and face than others

Sucker Punch has always been underrated. Good to see them find recognition now.

>tfw uncle tells you that you have no honor
