There are no enemies to shoot or kill. The environment and its obstacles are your adversaries. In a game that's designed around a post-apocalyptic delivery man in a Kojima-esque sci-fi/horror setting, it makes for a memorable experience. That goes without saying there's plenty of over-the-top scenarios, aptly named characters and long winded dialogue that's expected from a Kojima game. I have no idea why people act like that's something new.

The music is absolutely kino and makes for a comfy, solitary experience.

Simply put, if you like Kojima, you'll like Death Stranding.

There's a chiralium coating on the outside of the buildings, but the substance is highly toxic to humans so it can't be abused.

Even then, the chiralium coating needs to be maintained on structures as Timefall corrodes it.
