enemies are on meth, there's no cadence to their attacks. making it much more difficult to parry, dodging is essential even for a STR Grug build

its still a good game and ive finished it twice but...it has its flaws

Just level HP and find Titanite and a Raw gem. Refine weapon to Raw, and keep leveling HP to 30. Keep spending souls on levels until you're ready to respec. Respec something easy like Ungabunga Str and refine for Heavy. Easy game.

It's not, just keep playing and try different builds. I went pure dex and had fun for a little bit, then got my ass handed to me until I started exploring mixed magic and different kinds of weapons.

It's the easiest game I've ever played.
Get the sellsword blades, get the little lizard next to the bridge bonfire at undead settlement, get the coal in the road of sacrifices past the black knight in the corridor, dump all your stats into dex, upgrade your weapon with titanite, press L1 repeatedly, steamroll the game
I just beat it with lothric sword and went from shield of want to black knight shield, it's not DS1 tier but it's far from useless. You get 80 estus anyway it doesn't fucking matter

It's easy, just dodge forward and the opposite direction of their swing. Works for 99% of attacks. I had to mod my game to be harder to get any kind of challenge out of it.

Keep trying user! you can do it! I sucked at that game too and now play it casually all the time.
Keep rolling behind his back, user. He actually was easy on my first try. However, people experience will vary when they fight bosses.

Just spam that shit whenever something swings at you. 9/10 you won't get hit. DS3 dodges make BB quicksteps look like fat rolls

stay behind/under him. most bosses punish you for keeping your distance so always stay close and strafe around your target
thanks anons, i can past that part of the fight actually fairly easily now, but im struggling with his second form
Just keep playing and trying to get better, pay attention to their attacks instead of your character, don't roll/block too early or you'll get punished. He's one of the easier enemies so I assume it's your first Souls game.
