How High is too High?

I keep my headset volume at 6 or 10, somewhere inbetween.

this

anyone who does otherwise is never gonna make it

>tfw got my hearing tested

>on the verge of needing hearing aid at 25

end it bros

>not having an audio interface

Soundlets please leave

You're doing it wrong. Put it at 100% and turn the hardware dial, moron.

Your OS has the DAC.

>he doesn't have a DAC/AMP with a volume nob

25 on mixer and 50% or lower in game. I learned my lesson with tinnitus at 14 and it's actually gotten better.

0 dB in receiver, 8 in amp, 100 in OS

>plug in high end cans to DAC/AMP
>Up volume all the way
>mess with windows volume after that
I usually keep it at 20 universally, turn it up to 30 or 40 if the audio is quiet on youtube or twitch, might turn it down to 15 if the source is loud like some Spotify songs.

The point is to not adjust volume digitally you brainlet

I hope you like clipping, bro.
Remember: software adjustments modify the waveform.

sounds like a troll

you mean the the little volume thing on my headset?

based

And you sound like bait, congrats.

You are retarded right?

for porn I set it at 10 and adjust the volume in the video player
for vidya I push it to 35-40, for some reason Death Stranding is really quiet so its at 70 right now.

System volume 100.
Amp volume usually ~40-50%, higher for music sometimes and lower for games with shit audio mixing.

I keep everything at 100, I'm slowly becoming blind

Default volume in video games and windows is very loud for me. I thought I was oversensitive to loud noises but reading this thread it seems normal.

I have cheap ass headphones, ATH-M30s, and almost never even push 20 in the OS, usually just 12-14. I'm guessing with a proper setup and amp it's a completely different story but I have a feeling some of you people are blowing your brains out and are going to enjoy the glorious EEEEEEEEEEEEEE soon.

>using headsets
enjoy your gamer dent

based and signal flow pilled

Not if you're using one plugged in by USB (digital connection)

maxxed to drown out the tinnitus

Why can’t you Zig Forums faggots just do what normal people do for a change? Muh DAC, muh Linux, muh PC gaming, muh no capeshit, muh right wing political opinions. Every board you go on it’s elitist bullshit for the sake of it, just to be different

Always 50, Never touch that shit unless some youtube video is pretty silent

reddit is that way kiddo
