No better way to play the campaign than playing with max reinforcements on Easy in the coop mod. If you make them respawn, it's even more fun because the AI will attack you relentlessly in ways that weren't even possible in the base game. It's constant shooting and way more action packed.
Same, I've been addicted to them like crack lately. RTCW is still really fun and scratches that itch, so I always keep it installed.

They took the Quake 3 engine, modified the shit out if it until it was possible to have wide, sprawling levels and maps, made a light, fun story to go with it, and made sure the gunplay was simple, but satisfying. They pretty much nailed how to make a fantastic fucking shooter. It was the full package, just wish the multiplayer was still active like it was back in the day. RTCW: ET was like the 3rd most popular online PC shooter well into the 2000s, only surpassed by the Half-Life titles.

A modern day class-based Wolfenstein multiplayer would do great, but I want the next iteration to be inspired by either RTCW or 09's aesthetic.

More secrets. I want like 20 secrets scattered through the levels. Many of the later levels don't even have a single secret in them which is retarded. It's like they got lazy and gave up.
The stealth missions. Make stealth optional.

Great game, but I consider that part of the Nu-Wolf timeline. Same kinda deal with Wolf 09' being a soft sequel to RTCW, but not really because of how different the level design and gunplay was. As far as I'm concerned, I want A full-fledged Return to Castle Wolfenstein sequel/reboot with everything that's been improved in Nu-Wolf and with all the mistakes ironed out. If you took TNC's gunplay, gave it Old Blood's focus on actual gameplay, and RTCW's formula of strong verticality in level design, secret areas, light story based in WW2 and the occult, levels with a clear start and finish, and objective-based multiplayer, that would bring back some much needed energy to the series.
Have an upgrade system like in the new games so that the treasure actually does something.
I find it funny, at least the treasure in Wolf 3D gave you points. Treasure in RtCW was even more worthless.
