I would recomend you getting it on sale.
The game is super short if you skip all the sidequests.. the 4 chapters just pass away very quickly.

DP1 has 21 chapters, DP2 has 4 and the majority is a elongated fetch quest in chapter 2 that is in the main quest that used to be side content from DP1.

how is it censorship?

Dialogue and characters are still fun but almost everything else about it feels worse than the first game. That being said, York is still the most enjoyable protagonist in gaming history.

Ignoring the main quest for side quests. Same can be said for the first game but you'd have 20 chapters left instead of 3.

DP1 is also split into 4 episodes

York calls him Lenny to try and trigger the tranny during an interrogation so he can get more dirt on him.
Now he just says nothing, he opens his mouth and nothing comes out.

All this attention being put into deadnaming a tranny (Who used his dead name to commit crimes so it cannot be eliminated from the story) while the game still runs at a silky smooth 5fps.

Also it should be pointed out the reason he transitioned in the first place is to eliminate suspicion from the crimes he committed. So the fact that he used to be called a different name is 100% a part of the story and 're-writing' it can't change it, just makes awkward pauses in the dialogue that now make no sense

DP1 is 6 episodes with 21 chapters, DP2 is just 4 chapters no episodes.

I hope other people see SWERY getting raked over the coals despite doing what was asked of him and decide to just ignore them in the future.
