This system is designed to help you, the customer, navigate the tricky world of Japanese game reviews! Following this guide will lead to a better understanding of what you can expect from a Japanese game. The system is as follows:
>game is made by a Japanese company = subtract 1 point
>game is made by Nintendo = subtract 3 points
>game is a jrpg = subtract 1 point
>game is waifu bait = subtract 4 points

Which is accurate! Because while above average, at the end of the day botw is just another empty and uninspired open world game.

Depends if you liked the previous games or not.
If you liked previous DQ, then no, it probably won't be a good game for you.
If you don't like older DQ but other jRPG, then yes, you will most likely like it.

DQ XI feels like its literally made for literal children. There is not a hint of depth to it. And that's not in a good way since many children's games can be appreciated by adults

Replace DQ11 with DQ11S, P5R with XC2 and FF7 with octopath traveler.

P5R is my second JRPG of all time after DQXI.
