The whole AAA industry is wrong because they consistently put 5x as much effort into grafics as they do gameplay (with a few exceptions)
arabs made animal crossing?
>The game that made atleast half it's fans rage and feel disappointed with what they got after 7 years
>The game that despite having a simple artstyle is widely loved and a complete success of a sequel after their previous entries.
Yeah I think I'll go with the one that was made by developers working with passion over the one being whipped and forced to watch liveleak videos while wearing the LGTB furry logo shirt to make an edgy high budget fanfic.
Die of anal cancer already OP.
animal crossing is a $60 mobile game, so I guess crunch won.
Doesn't the new animal crossing have even less content than the 3ds game which already had less content than pocket camp for mobile?
Crunch obviously.
what the fuck is a crunch and why should I care?
Nothing better than crunch. It's the only way to get results after all, 16 million btw.
Iwata? Who's that? Crunch is good because it keeps the codemonkeys working and the consumers buying. It appeases investors and prints money, what could possibly go wrong?
If the game seems incomplete we can make two subscription services that require Nintendo's online service as well to function. The consumers are made to give us MONEY and nothing else. They like giving us money.
Its when developers work overtime, because apparently that is unfair even though they have every legal right to quit whenever they want if they dont like it.
Yes really these people are bitching about having to sit in an office chair an extra few hours every week.
Muh graphics ruined gaming
real question is, why is this a thread? Who the fuck cares?
and consoles
without consoles there would be no gaming.
I mean in modern times, since all AAA games are pretty much multiplatform, we get less fast games cause controllers. I'm not gonna go all "pc best durr durr", I just want more fast shit.
No crunch
youtube.com
Animal crossing sold so insanely well (and continues to), how is this even a discussion?
but consoles still fund those games.
>imagine being Druckmann
>drowning in cash and acclaim
what did random youtube montage editor mean by this?
>Its when developers work overtime, because apparently that is unfair even though they have every legal right to quit whenever they want if they dont like it.
Developers are the worst, they say they don't force anyone to crunch but if someone goes early to their home instead of working extra hours they don't hire them again so people feel they are actually being forced to work extra hours. Fucking assholes.
Yes, which is why we'll never get AAA games that do it again
:(
Do people in America not have unions to stop this kind of shit?
You should never be "forced" to work overtime just to showcase something for corporate overlord.
No Crunch
>America
>workers' rights
hey titanfall 2 looks close enough. still designed for consoles though I think
The top and the bottom give the same conclusion though.
that's what unions are for. Helping out to get better rights as workers
Isn't tlou2 higher rated than trannymal crossing?
Americans have done nothing but elect anti-union/anit-worker leaders since the 1980s
So no, we don't have unions, and the ones we do have lack any real power
>The whole AAA industry is wrong because they consistently put 5x as much effort into grafics as they do gameplay (with a few exceptions)
they also run on insane budgets and expect unrealistic sales by selling the game to movie goers
>and consoles
there was a time when console weren't shit
