Real effort in localization. There are actual Asian countries that have English as an official language (ie. Singapore) and they have translations for major locations and events such as 'Red Cliff', a simple, clean, easy name to remember that Koei has always kept as 'Chi Bi' for all their Egnlish translations. Maybe if they have gave a shit about their non-Japanese audience from the start they could have been much more successful (In terms of successful the series peaked at DW4 with a total of 2m sold).

They should add a good game in there. 9 is so bad - it's insulting. And the best thing is that it wasn't their first open world warriors. Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is great, yet they fucked up DW9 so bad by doing the exact opposite of it.

I'd like a return to the style of the PS2 era games where you have body guards, had to fight with your allies to survive and you couldn't get a 1000ko counter in just 2 minutes. And perhaps a system combat system that will allow enemies to be much more attack. When people who haven't played the games watch a gameplay video they get a bad impression: "Why do the enemies just stand there and not fight back?"

8 inspired me to go back and play 3/4/5 again and 8 is just plain better, I had nostlagia for the large, open battlefields but it turns out that only 2 & 3 really have those, and they're not great games in other ways
