it's mostly just fluff.
the shittiest thing is having 2 jobs being locked behind it.
the rest is stat boosting items for lazy people, managers for the minigame similar to 6, and kiwami 2's clan creator DLC, and the karoake are just CD's for a CD player in a single bar, they aren't actually extra songs for the minigame itself, and there's the usual costumes you can wear.

so i can just get the hero edition to get all the content? I really didn't like Kiwami 2's DLC because it made the clan creator pretty much play itself. i haven't played 6 so idk what you mean by managers. I'd rather not make the game easier desu.

i'm just getting the day one edition, since those DLC jobs were apparently designed to be stronger for players who were having trouble, similar to those combat orbs in judgment.
there's already like 19 unique jobs (that's including the character specific jobs)
so you're not really missing out if you don't get those jobs.

ah ok, yeah i don't give af about making the game easier, so i'll just get day one too. That's how it's been for the other Yakuza games, DLC is just bullshit. I wouldn't have even bothered with K2's DLC but I pre-ordered it and they gave it for free. In hindsight, I absolutely should not have opened that box. I wasn't too upset because I didn't really like Clan Creator that much but it's not something I would do again if I ever revisit the game. (unlikely I've already 100% it)

the game takes place in 2001 so the only ties it will have would be in yakuza 0. im sure it will still have some references here and there but im pretty sure the game is suppose to act as its own thing.

it's a spinoff and Kiryu's story "finished" with 6. it's only called yakuza 7 in japan because japanese tend to be retarded.

I think that only shows the difference between Microsoft and Sony architectures.
PS5 will require a completely different build of the game to make use of the PS5 hardware, as PS4 games run through backwards compatibility layer. They'll have to ported.
While on Series X, Xbone games will run as a native software, exactly the same as Windows games, meaning they don't need to port the entire game to new API to make use of Series X hardware.

As you can see in the title, it's not even marketed as 7 in the west.
It's a completely different story about different characters. Hell, they even killed Tojo clan.
