Because no matter what you do, people will rage. If it was for all three major consoles and PC, people would rage because "the series has always been on X!" If you put it on only one console, people rage. If you only put it on some of the consoles, people rage. Thats how the world works.

that's because it was announced in the shittiest conditions possible, it's been a good while since a proper direct and the "leakers" more or less had everyone hyped up that the 20th would be the day. then we get an 8 min video with the SMT games being the only really worthwhile thing being in it and you have a recipe for people being pissed off more about what wasn't there than what was.

I looked into that and there's no mention of Sony or Nintendo funding or helping publishing any of the games. Unless there's some under the table dealings going on I can't think of why they are doing this. I understand why they only kept games on the PS2 because that was the JRPG machine for that gen but times have changed

i think it was too little too late, they announced the direct at midnight est and i'd be willing to bet a good number of people had gone to sleep by then and woke up to the direct mini fully expecting it to be something. again having "leakers" hype it up for a week or so before also didn't help.
