It'll have a Japanese dub, right? Right?
It'll have a Japanese dub, right? Right?
Yes it will. November 13th Yakuza bros!
who cares, combat is a snorefest, new characters look uninteresting
why even bother playing it
also theres already been too many yakuza games, the series got stale long time ago, every game youre just doing the same things
Is that when we’re getting the western release?
Kill yourself
What's it like being a total faggot?
>combat is a snorefest
no it's actually fast for a jrpg
>new characters look uninteresting
the opposite, they look cool
>been too many yakuza games, the series got stale long time ago, every game youre just doing the same things
EVERYTHING is new in this
Yes it's up on PlayStation Store with Nov 13 as the release date
So it took so long because they were doing an English dub?
Based
>youre just doing the same things
>literally changed the games protagonist, location, game-play and fucking genre
Based retard
I'm sure Covid didn't help, also localization is a huge undertaking with so much to translate, especially when it's a smaller studio.
Judgement looks more interesting than nu-Yakuza.
Saeko is fucking hot
what's the collectors edition look like?
Do we call it Yakuza 7 or Like a Dragon now?
I use those glasses quite a bit. Love 'em.
All the Yakuza girls are real models and JAV stars who need to win a contest.. so yeah she is hot.
Chad tier collectors edition
This is perfect because this collector's edition just smells of Yakuza syndicates just trying to find a way to get rid of their extra surplus.
>Yakuza 7
Doesn't exist. Ryu ga Gotoku 7 and Yakuza: Like A Dragon are the official naming conventions now, depends on your nationality I suppose.
>new characters look uninteresting
It just looks like Yakuza 5 Shinada except actually related to the Yakuza this time
and I liked that story, even if Japan didn't like Shinada for not being enough of an autistic virgin
What will they call Ryu ga Gotoku 8 overseas then? Yakuza 7?
Is this going to sell well on PC seeing as they skipped a bunch of titles?
There isn't one right now. They only have a steelbook listed and three separate digital versions for how much DLC you want.
Nagoshi should lay off the plastic surgeries goddamn
Ichiban isn't Shinada trust me I've played both. He's actually interesting.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon 2, Ryu ga Gotoku 8 in Japan
They'll probably drop the Yakuza title entirely if this one sells well enough.
would you be missing a lot if you played this after only playing 0-1-2?
The man had heart surgery and was out of the hospital early to promote his work, he's a fashion icon and cool as fuck in my book
There's no way, because then it means they can't use "Like a Dragon: Restoration" and "Like a Dragon: Meeting" as titles for Ishin and Kenzan if they do happen for fear of confusion. Even now there's a minor issue if they ever remake Black Panther because then you'd have "Black Panther: Like a Dragon" and "Black Panther: Like a Dragon New Chapter" implying it could be an RPG or something.
It's a sequel to 6 and Judgment with a new cast but several returning old cast members. A person from 5 is a main character in it and I believe the one character from 6 will get his fate spoiled.
Comes with a towel
>Like a dragon
Like a dragon what? Yakuza like a dragon? Do they mean "Yakuza who is like a dragon" or are they trying to use yakuza like a verb? Like, yo, dude, you should yakuza like a dragon? Were the Japs afraid the West doesn't know what Yakuza is any more so they made the title more West friendly?
Yakuza is far too well known over here at this stage to do that, they just wanted to drop the "7" as it could be a turn off to new people getting into the series
Like a Dragon is the original Jap title.
