They used the kino music so it better be.

The class you pick determines your starting city, but you can travel between them at around level 15. Generally, don't worry about "what of this will I need later." Read the tooltips. Enjoy the game, as it's pretty anti-Warframe in the sense it's not a "gotta go fast" type of game.
