Rebellion and Stinger are more useful than Pierce for TDE. Demi is just going to be spamming Freikugel anyways, the damage any other demon would be doing is peanuts compared to that. Dante will pretty much guarantee you crits and can debuff the enemy decently.

Also Dante can drop from the mantra building and take 1 dmg. Raidou's a pussy who sneaks up on you on some stairs.

No, the port is just based on the Japan-only rerelease that came after Maniax which replaced Dante with Raidou. Probably for legal reasons.

I like both Dante and Raidou, but I'm glad Raidou's in this release because I never played the version of the game with Raidou, though I know it got a fan translation. It would be ideal if you could choose one or the other though.
