to be fair, compared to assassins creed there's minimally required busywork required, I dont think there's that much non scenario scripted game play required to get trough the story.

yeah I don't want to get ghost of sushi yet because I feel like it's going to drop in price very quickly.

Ghost feels like a good version of AC, It's a beautiful open world game with a lot of cool shit to look at, but it's not SO huge it's annoying and a lot of the needless bloat taken out.
It's not perfect, but it's a good time would recommend to anyone who's interested.

There isn't to much needless shit in the game, no leveling so you will never not be able to handle an area cause you are too weak, a lot of the side mission shit is really good, but there is also some meanless missions, BUT you can see what missions reward you, so you know if it's worth your while.
