maybe whenever I feel like taking a break from disgaea 4 i could actually start looking into the old sierra/impressions citybuilders or one of the many old RTSes I bought or FINALLY get started on animal crossing.
disgaea 4/5 on the switch is like crack

metroidvanias are chock full of backtracking, empty level design, and have shit combat overall. most of them can't even get movement right. if anything, that trash genre is more overrated than any mega man game ever.

I recently replayed RA2 and it holds up imo which is why I mentioned it, mental omega is a mod that just remakes the campaign mission with more stuff and different units mechanics.
