Why was San Andreas more fun to play/memorable/funny than V despite having a fraction of the V's budget and being developed in like 2 years?
Why was San Andreas more fun to play/memorable/funny than V despite having a fraction of the V's budget and being...
because gta v fucking sucks and rockstar is gay
because when SA came you were still a kid with no worries in life. When V came you were an adult with all adults problems to deal with in back of your head while gaming.
this
I doubt it.
The only line from V that I can remember is Lamarr saying nigga. Meanwhile theres tons of SA memes.
This. Very eloquent and succinct. Also the cheat codes sucked major donkey dick.
Bad/amatuer voice acting was actually more memorable than good voice acting, likewise for dialogue/writing.
tfw still remember several cheat codes from gtasa despite last having played it in middle school
it's not floaty devs started using this anim blending shit that makes everything feel """realistic""" aka like shit when you press a button in san andreas it goes there instantly
fpbp
I wish GTA V had more trees and forest.
gta 5 already has more wilderness than urban areas
SA has multiple cities but at the same time the map isn't too big. GTA V is just too big. Driving to the other side of the map is a chore and there's nothing there anyway
GTA V needed more fleshed out area like the
redneck countryside in San Andreas.
The desert with methheads where trevor lived was fucking shit.
But no great forest or trees. Gta 5 map wilderness felt kinda barebones and empty.
because you were younger
seriously though, I don't know. one thing I know for sure is that gta5 is way too easy, each mission has like 10 checkpoints, you have super powers and do not lose weapons when you die. I've beaten gta5 in one sitting on my first playthrough.
for free roam bullshit mode gaming gta5 is fine, but for straight story mode it's too easy and boring
because it had more of that arcade game feel
Too realistic and the characters sucked. The internet also ruined any of the mysticism the game would have had. Rockstar too, kinda.
>HEY REMEMBER THE ALIEN MEMES IN SA? GUESS WHAT'S BACK AND IN YOUR FACE
this. i struggle to remember officer tenpenny's lines but he's played by samuel jackson and delivers perfectly while ryder and big smoke were basically caricatures with b acting
Rockstar became too liberal.
They always used to tread the line and make fun out of both sides but now they've just gone left.
I really liked the small RPG touches that let you make CJ your character. It's the kind of shit that immerses you.
I was a kid when V came out (it's been over 7 years now) and I still think SA is better.
>for free roam bullshit mode gaming gta5 is fine, but for straight story mode it's too easy and boring
Stereotype has always been that GTA players just want to wreck and kill shit with cheats on while the story is a secondary inclusion.
Lamar was great though
no i think you've just gotten more tunnel vision and just ignore certain pisstakes
Because you were younger and the experiences thus newer
SA: SOUL
V: SOULLESS
I unironically to this day still calm down when driving in the deserts of bone county in San Andreas. I haven't really touched V after finishing the storyline
not for me, I can drive around for an hour or two but then j get bored. I prefer doing missions
>invincibility for fun rampages
>have to find cover every five minutes to real-enter the code
What were they thinking?
I wonder what it was like to not have worries as a kid.
V is especially lifeless online, where animals dont even spawn.
GTA gets worse and worse with every release.
The transition in the playable areas were kino
>From LS to Whestone
>First time visting San Fierro
>Bone County and the desert
>Las Venturas
>Circling back to Los Santos for the ending
holy fucking based
They tried to hard to do a Hollywood style story &had way to much focus on Online. They just had to cater to spoiled squeaky ass kids.
This is what V lacked
There was more to do in SA
SA actually has shit to do
til Samuel L Jackson, Chris Penn, Peter Fonda, Ice T, James Woods, David Cross and Clifton Powell are amateurs.
The more you know
Because you played it when you were a child and remember when you play things as a kid you don't realize how bad games are.
>despite having a fraction of the V's budget
san andreas cost more to make than gta v (170 millions vs 135 millions)
>Gta3
>Vice City
>San Andreas
>amateur and bad voice acting
zoomer begone
This. Sure V's map is bigger, but who gives a shit when there is less interesting shit in it? I was holding out hope for a bit that there would be some good episodic single player dlc like IV had that brought back San Fierro and Las Venturas, now I just drown in disappointment.
Robert Loggia, Frank Vincent, Joe Pantoliano, Kyle Machlan, Michael Madsen... gta3 sure was amateur
GTA never had amateur voice acting, what are you talking about?
