Why does Fate/Extra get so much hate by Type-Moon fans?
Why does Fate/Extra get so much hate by Type-Moon fans?
Aside from the shitty rock paper sister combat, people don't hate Extra. The two Extella games are the ones that are hated and rightfully so.
It does?
how was the anime?
The beginning of nu-Fate trash.
Shit, nobody likes it except small number of retards. The anime has nothing to do with Fate Extra too.
This. Extella and FGO made me hate Nero.
Wtf is it then I thought it was an adaptation
Of all the potential settings that are possible for holy grail war concept they picked retarded one
Too many asset flips
>Type-Moon fans?
Dead group, FGO tertiaries now make up the vast majority, and at best they'll have watched Zero and Ufotable's shitty adaptations.
Unintelligible garbage if you didn't play Extra, so most gachafags hated it.
It was a pretty good as a weird followup to Extra's plot that no one asked for though. Nasu's fixated with rewriting the Extraverse at every opportunity, as also seen with Extella/Zero and what they're about to do again with Record
you posted the same shit on Zig Forums you tard OP
Of everyone present in this picture I can see only a single character who isn't either directly copied from f/sn or copied from f/sn with some color rehash. And as far as I know this thing is completely unrelated to f/sn story wise.
Do you niggers have absolutely no standards? You aren't allowed to complain about your franchise going to shit after this was successful.
theres no reason to hate them. musou games are what they are
How did Fate get so popular? I remember thinking of reading it back in the day but everybody told me it was shit and I should read something good instead.
oh unless you paid for them I guess. but thats on you really.
Zig Forums calls anything remotely popular shit
weeb shit became mainstream
It was ahead of its time in pandering to untapped potential since fundamentally, it's a battle royale with historical figures turned into fuckable females. Then sprinkle on conceptual sophistry on the shonen battles and you get the real creme de la crop entry level shit
>people don't hate Extra.
Yes they do the story was also shit
>No reason to hate them
They made Atilla the Hun a space alien with a sword that looks like rock candy.
Not Type Moon fan here. I remember thinking this was the bees knees when I first played it but looking back the story was pretty bad and the battle system while unique is still cancer.
It's still one of the better psp rpgs though. Granted I could never get into Gods Eater because battles take forever.
Tamamo is the only interesting thing that came out of that shitshow.
Fate/Stay Night is great. Make sure to read the original with the voice patch instead of that retconned Realta Nua bullshit.
I don't hate Extra. I just already played it thrice, once for each Servant, had my fun and want something new.
You can't walk up to me in 2020 and give me a remake with just playable Nero/Emiya/Tamamo when there's boatloads of cool new Servants I'd like to use that are either stuck in gachashit or DW knockoffs like Extella.
this is one of the worst games I have had the displeasure of playing, and I actually bothered to finish it for some reason. I just wanted more F/SN and I thought I would find it in this game. Weill I didn't. Nasu is a fucking hack.
I liked extra and extella (hate that they dropped the smooth jazz though) even if they were shallow. Extella link was a downgrade in everything but graphics and servant rooster. Also Takeuchi art had soul.
pretty sure nasu did that
Link was a lot better than Nerowank: the game
>The two Extella games are the ones that are hated and rightfully so.
People don't care about the games. They just care about the story. It's not until Extella they are starting to realize Fate has always been shit and the only real reason they care is the battle royal between legendary and historical figures.
People will tell me differently, but they can't trick me.
Extra was shit anyway.
>user is already using my crop
I appreciate it
>Extella link was a downgrade in everything but graphics and servant rooster
And gameplay. The mechanics is more refined in Links and doesn't feel as stale. Only shit I miss is Nero Venus.
Extella had at least a story. The new skills make combos redundant and reward button mashing instead. Instant skills don't matter anymore since you can spec everything by endgame. I don't miss area traps however, they only limited wich mystic codes you could pick.
