Keep track of whatever you fuse your first Pixie into (it will always be on top of ypur demon list)
keep the first pixie
put most points into str
If you want to get the ending with the most content, make sure to finish the optional dungeon before you get to the final story dungeon (I think a certain NPC even warns you).
learn the press turn combat system.
you hit weaknesses with the correct element to get an extra HALF turn. but as long as you have that half a turn leftover you can act again.
passing your turn only uses HALF a turn. meaning you don't really lose that turn, because you still have half a turn leftover.
save often
Any thing with dark or light alignment ? Does nocturne have any sort of alignment system ?
There are several different endings that depend on who you agree with
But all of them get overwritten by the true demon ending that most people just do anyways
It should be noted that you can evolve it and fuse it. Just never sacrifice or get rid of it.
Learn Fog breath
>learn Fog Breath and War Cry
>game turns into a fucking cakewalk
what did they mean by this?
Not OP, but I'm playing it for the first time. I've killed the Sisters and the first three Horsemen. How do I get more demons with elemental attacks? Everything available to me at a reasonable level only knows fire, expel, and physical.

About to fuse this guy. What should I do to get a good one?
No idea, but here's a slightly autistic one that I made.
Your alignment changes when you learn all skills from a Magatama. There are three types of Magatama and alignment: light, dark and neutral. They don't cancel each other out, you get points in each, and whichever has the most points decides your alignment. E.g. 1 light point, 1 dark point, 2 neutral points = you're neutral. Where does it matter? There are a few doors in the Labyrinth of Amala which can only be opened if your alignment is right.
Why have Me Patra when Daisoujo learns Prayer?

Does this stop you getting true demon?
Less mana usage I guess? I wasn't really thinking about it at the time because it was my first playthrough. I was just glad to get a fusion roll that wasn't ass.
No.
>forget which one is the pixie demon
>buffer goes in
Play on hard mode
this pic looks gay...
It's always at the top of your roster.
this game sucks
I never ended up using my level 80 pixie for anything. I gave up my really good Black Rider for nothing
Luck is useless, agility is basically useless (confirmed by modders that accuracy is mostly level dependent) and if you want to go for the true end and experience all the content you'll get a skill that makes STR overpowered enough for you to deal with the extra final boss. MAG can and will work most of the game, it's just gimped for that ending path. There's also a Magatama that gives +10 to all stats so don't go over 30.
For bosses if you can confirm they don't have dekunda/dekaja you can fuck their shit up with debuffs and if they do you usually can get away with -/+2 without them popping that off. They're also more "fair" in that they usually don't have infinite MP or whatever gay shit the later games always pull so energy drains are actually really good for once and scale properly. It gives you some breathing room when your team isn't minmaxed for that boss's weakness.
You should also either save before using cathedral or avoid fusing at full moon when using your Pixie route demon. I'm 100% sure that I kept track on her fusions, and then I got a fucking fusion accident while using that demon in a recipe - the resulting demon did not work at the Pixie door.
Can you please record yourself getting killed off a different way?
The real SMT begins here
Did they ever remove fusion accidents from later games?
Why would they? It's always fun when the game trolls you.
