If it's a D&D ruleset game I usually just go pure wizard because 99% of problems, albeit inefficiently, can be solved with Fireballs.

It probably won't happen, but it's not an impossibility either. Just play Dragon's Dogma for now, that's probably the closest approximate gameplay to her.

Oh I don't mean like how that game works, I mean a game that simulates an MMORPG with them as actual characters, kinda like the .Hack games.

I know what you meant, user. A game like the actual Bofuri game simply won't happen for ages at the very least, I'll probably die well before that. I'm just saying that it's fairly possible since Konosuba got a few games and that Mystic Knight is probably the closest you'll get to Maple gameplay while still having a great shield at least.
You can sort of replicate it in the new SAO game too, but it lacks all the cool visual aspects of greatshield and sadly no HYDRA.

IMO that sounds more INT/DEX. Wouldn't INT/STR be more of the dude in the center of the battlefield cleaving through the army with fireballs and swings of his massive weapon while encased in heavy armor with a layer of magically hardened earth/ice on top.
