I mean, outside of the concept of pvp and controlling zones and shit, the gameplay loop is your typical open world indie survival crafting shit

it's deep as a puddle, it's a shame because it's looked good, the problem really is that since they changed directions in what the game should be they have NOTHING to show, because creating themepark content takes lots of time

I was told that there were zones where you had to mine and gather materials, and anyone could jump you and take your shit. That sounded FUN as FUCK. Like EVE but in a forest. Then they fired the creative director that was really gung ho about this, and shut down that PVP avenue to push shitty PVE.

There is PvP but only instanced, with a very small amount of players and no reward or purpose to it. Think WoW battlegrounds with just 5-8 players and no rewards for playing.

Its really just a survival game. You spawn at the beach, punch some trees for wood, pick up stones from the ground, spam E while rtunning past bushes to get fiber and then craft that into an Axe with durability that you use for more woods to build a base. This game is NOTHING like an MMO in any way possible. it doesnt even have classes, talent trees or skills. Combat is leftclick/rightclick with a stamina system and slow animation locked movements

The combat felt great desu I tried it with a little of the soft locked and hard locked but I never found one that felt super great and changed a few times, I think I used soft locked the most, I don't remember using tab to change targets at all.

Noob zone is fun enough and passes very quickly, if you are good at MMO's you could just power though levels. If you like MMOs I would say yes, the quests are a very basic however even later on.

I don't like the look of it. No game seems to have proper style. You want to have a stylish presentation, that'll be more memorable to players. Realistic looking graphics are samey to people. Just a touch of making sure that it comes across as a game would be better.
Remember how in Witcher 3, or hell, a more recent example, Ghost of Tsushima, trees sway and dance on the wind? Not saying that it's not 'realistic', but the way it's done makes you appreciate the sight, while still retaining the thought 'It's a good looking game'. It's not trying to ape reality. Reality is boring as fuck.
