Why are physical copies of atelier Ryza going for like 150USD on ebay?
Why are physical copies of atelier Ryza going for like 150USD on ebay?
Because all of half a dozen people actually bought this shovelware as opposed to the usual 4 sales they get.
Unlike NISA, KT reprinted the game to meet demand. So the second wave are still selling at the $39.99 discount.
>Switch
>Reprint
LOL
you could at least be specific retard. its just the switch copy and its due to a low print and refusal to reprint.
I'm talking about the original PS4 shortage and time between the reprint.
does anyone else buy these random nip rpgs and immediately find themselves wishing at the first tutorial "i wish this just played like a normal turn based game where you pick the option and then press x"
when i see a dozen different bars, icons, buttons, etc, my eyes just sort of glaze over.
for years everyone told me xenoblade 1 was this amazing godlike game but the combat is fucking terrible because it's needlessly bogged down with like twenty extra mechanics. i just want to hit the enemies and do more damage if i bought a better weapon or did some grinding. fuck all this baggage
Well the Switch always had a shortage and never got a reprint.
>NISA
What games did they publish that were in high demand?
Sold better than expected and KT doesn't want to reprint Switch copies. It's the US version of Gravity Rush Remastered all over again, except a little less retarded because at least KT sent the thing out to mass market, GR Remastered was a fucking Amazon exclusive in the US.
You can get the UK version for $50. the only difference is it has the Euro rating on the box instead of the ESRB rating, and has more languages probably. why do people want to pay out the ass for the US release?
Why is switch not getting a reprint?
Same experience. I immediately lose interest if there's all of this shit to look at and manage. I simply don't give a fuck.
For Western RPGs I crave more complexity and interesting mechanics - games like Arcanum, Fallout 1/2, Daggerfall are all good examples of that. But for JRPGs I just want short and sweet.
Started playing FF IX recently and it's easily the best JRPG I've played in a decade.
Yep. Why can’t I just play this game instead of having to get a PhD in whatever gay system you think is better than what actually works.
Mum cost
Sounds like you should be playing Dragon Quest. Battles are really simple by design
I actually did, I was so disappointed by FFXV i went and got DQIV-VI and DQIX on my ds cart, burned through several of them in a row, now i'm working on XI S.
It's a shame there are so many dickheads apparently working on DQ because man these games are great. it's almost like the restrained western marketing kept the series pure and untainted for like 30 years.
what did they mean by this?
Is the Dragon Quest on Switch any good?
A lot of people say it's one of the best in the series. I haven't played it yet myself but general consensus is that it's outstanding. Dragon Quest 1-3 are on Switch too if you want to get a feel for the series before buying a full priced retail game
I emulated the Dragon Quest games that were on SNES as a young teen but none of them really stood out; Final Fantasy was a lot more interesting to me.
Also the switch ports of those games look...pretty bad graphically, in the sense that they look like mobile games.
That's because they are ports of the mobile versions yeah. You know your taste better than I do so I'm not gonna push you to check them out, but if you wanna go for XI I'd say it's probably a safe bet
Cheers, user. I'll watch a few reviews at least.
it is essentially the purest concentrated essence of DQ, polished to a mirror shine, with a side quest and boss fight for every single prior DQ game added on top of the main game, costumes, a bunch of attractive and charismatic party members, etc etc, it's kind of insane. easily Persona 5 levels of content if not more
Should I have bought the switch copy instead of the ps4 at launch? I thought the general consciousness was that nintendo graphics are potato tier and no one really plays portable mode.
its literally just because the switch was low print and scalpers took most of the copys, i heard its a good example of a switch port that ran well tho
I bought it for 30 USD on polish website lol
physical copies were always expensive, they haven't made a lot of them
i bought the physical copy so i can rub my pee pee on the cover
THE FUCKING PUNI JELLY IS FUCKING RAAAAAW
because weebs are retards who will spend money on free shit
