Yes, it only had one game.

nah this gen was pretty good

8th gen was a joke.
Can't even begin to imagine how terrible 9th gen will be.

PS3 was a Demon's Souls machine

PS4 is a Bloodborne machine

I'd say they're equal

atleast ps4 ran multiplats properly
ps3 very much did not

>PS5 Demon's Souls Remaster machine

SONY WINS AGAIN

it was good you autistic fuck

and no the fog was not an artistic choice, it was an engine limitation on ps2

yeah, ps3 has more titles that require a PS3 to play and they're mostly good games. PS4 has bloodborne and spiderman

Ps4 was ps3 remastered but with paid online .

I like PS4 more

>it was good
no it wasn't. i played it for free and still regretted my purchase
More multiplats that simultaneously existed and looked better on PC

>Didn't even have a full Gran Turismo
I mean, I got mine as a gift from my work, but as an OG PSX snoyfag, I was a bit underwhelmed.

>Persona 5
>God of War
>Last of Us 2
>Bloodborne
>Until Dawn
>Spider-Man
>Ratchet and Clank

It was the closest thing to a PS2-2 that we'll ever get. PS5 will end up being a PS3-2.

Shit I forgot

>Ghost of Tsushima
>The Last Guardian

Undeniably worse.

Also making it the second best console of all time.

Yes, easily. PS3 was pretty good in retrospect.

you have to be kidding, right?
persona 5 is on ps3
man that's an underwhelming list for a 7 year lifespan

PS4 was better because at least it was the best console for multiplats for most of its lifespan. PS3 was trash all around until MS fucked up and focused on Kinect

what multiplats did it have that weren't better played on PC
at least in ps3 era, a lot of them were console only

Is PC a console?

>muh redditsoftware
kill yourself

its a free console that everyone has access to
in judging a console within its generation, pure exclusives and multiplats not on pc are all that matter

at least ps3 had games

Goddamn, 9th gen will probably have even less. What a joke.

>It was the closest thing to a PS2-2 that we'll ever get.
You never owned a PS2. Even the PS3 had more niche weeb games and exclusives. PS4 was a remaster and Bloodborne machine. Absolutely soulless console, with no identity of its own.

Not everyone has a PC, so that argument doesn't work. PC is definitely the platform of choice for multiplats (usually) but that's why I specified consoles. Even going by just exclusives though I'd say PS4 was better. Almost all of the good PS3 games were ported to other platforms or were multiplat to begin with. MGS4 and Demon's Souls are the only good games I can think of that are still exclusive to it.

i dont think its fair to not consider games because they were forward ported or remastered or whatever
that would probably render the ps4 completely redundant in time
its only fair to judge within the period of support

Hmm, well if we go by that then yeah PS3 destroys PS4, at least in terms of 3rd party exclusives. I wasn't a fan of most of the 1st party stuff on PS3 though.
