Terraria, Minecraft only seems fun if you have build autism

Probably Terraria for me, but it's unfair to pick one as better: Minecraft has much more ways to play it as well as a great building system, while Terraria has great combat and progression. Though I have spent more time in Minecraft than Terraria, I think the time in Terraria was more enjoyable than Minecraft.

Imagine being an incel who unironically think Terraria having more content in its base game than Minecraft means its a better game.

People say minecraft is the one better suited to building, but I have unironically spent far more hours building bases and structures in Terraria that actually also LOOK cool than I ever have in Minecraft.
The third dimension allows for more complexity, but simplicity also takes exponentially longer.

The biggest travesty of all: Minecraft is NOT a building game anymore.
Base building is much better handled by Terraria.

Besides storing stupid shit and having an enchanting table station, WHAT is there to build a base for? Farming? Farming fucking what? Food? Why not just use the infinite cow vortex you can contain to a 2x2x2 hole?
The existence of the enderdragon also fucked Minecraft straight in the ass. It was there as some kind of like "haha it's something to do on the side but we make it clear in a tongue and cheek fashion that this isn't the whole point of the game"-
Meanwhile- LITERALLY EVERYONE peters out after killing it on their world, or after killing the Wither and maybe getting the Elytra.
There's no actual NEED to build a base the same way Terraria demands you to.

Terraria is literally better than minecraft in every aspect sans:
> Mods (Calamity and shit is cool but doesn't come close to the autism mods in MC)
> Extremely vast/ complex building (only a very very very small % of minecraft players even dabble in this)

Because unironically Minecraft patched in its own demise.
Before enderdragon I would praise Minecraft at its simplicity along with its goal of merely existing in the generated world and making it your own.

Terraria and even Minecraft mods give you a laundry list of goals to accomplish- you could say that they're for a "dumber" type of player who can't make their own goals when given something as open ended as Minecraft.
But the introduction of the enderdragon ACTUALLY robbed Minecraft of its sort of lax basebuilding by having a sort of goal all your basebuilding sort of leads into.
And wouldn't you know it- you don't NEED to build any sort of base at all to accomplish said goal.

The enderdragon wasn't supplementary to the open world, it set it on a track with a beginning-middle-end. Even if it was meant to be tongue and cheek ("Haha, this isn't REALLY the end") it's treated seriously enough as the end of a Minecraft world.
