it goes beyond oney or the ERP furries--most servers now have one or more groups of extremely online discord people (trannies over-represented in this group) that metagame and tirelessly work to influence the coders and admins. their 'influencing' is annoying but not unforgivable, but the metagaming is profoundly destructive to the fun of a game where paranoia and isolation are woven into the mechanics. these days, if you attack a player that's a part of these discord groups, a pack of their friends will mysteriously come running to save them. hmm. wonder how that happened.
