Hitman 2 is better, you're right.
N
Yeah, Hitman is the only video game franchise that objectively got better as time went by.
Hitman is the franchise with the greatest comeback in vidya history after Absolution.
dumb phoneposter
>Absolution
There are still Hitman fans that love Blood Money that rank Absolution higher than nuHitman and I will never understand why. Yes the always online is garbage and it's much easier than old Hitman, but Absolution was literally a bad splinter cell game half the time and the other half of the time it was a complete disgrace to the series. NuHitman is almost a greatest hits in how much it focuses on killing people. If it wasn't for the lack of weapon upgrading and the loss of Contract's tone, Hitman 1 and 2 would be my favorite in the series.

I hope Hitman 3 comes with more mechanical depth to the gameplay. Let's be real, there's no elimination method you need to autistically plan out for 10-20 minutes just to execute. There's some neat stuff like finding special items like the train-lever that causes massive amounts of kills.
Hitman 1 was better. 2's maps besides Miami and Hawke's Bay (which is just a tutorial) all kind of suck to be honest.
Pink color? Yep, that's Hitman!
First weather that comes to mind when i hear the word "Hitman"? Happy sunny day.
I
It's red, retard.
Only 2 map I don't really like was the one with the rich people island. It was kinda dull. Rest were really damn good.
What went so wrong?
I disagree. Santa Fortuna and Mumbai are just plain not fun at all and quite badly designed in their own ways. Mumbai is a clusterfuck and Santa Fortuna might as well be 3 different levels with how disjointed and divided it is. Both are also too big which works heavily against them. The best Hitman maps are more contained locations like Paris, Hokkaido, and Miami. Colorado is how a map with 3 or 4 targets should be done as all 4 targets are quite close to each other and allow for a variety of approaches. When 2 attempts this, it just segregates targets far away from each other in little mini levels within the level that ruin the pace in the same way that the secret lab in Sapienza ruins that map.
>Hitman 1 was better.
Yes. That was a good map.
>Hitman fans that love Blood Money that rank Absolution higher than nuHitman
There are no such people, you were probably just being trolled. The only people that tolerate Absolution at all are people with extremely low standards who at least admit it is worse than the other games, and people who have only played Absolution.
I am playing hitman 2 right now and it's my first hitman game. Enjoying it a ton. Should I get hitman 1 or is it worse?
Get the legacy pack to play the Hitman 1 levels in 2. And yes, you should, most of the maps in it are better.
Hitman 1 is arguably better.
Contracts is peak hitman for me. Excellent mission variety, engaging story and the best soundtrack.
nuHitman 2 is undeniably the peak in terms of gameplay and variety though and I would play it over all the others. My favourite is still Contracts though.
deepest map, best replayability
I play splinter cell on og xbox and didnt like it and nevet really gave stealth games another shot. Hitman 2 made me love stealth games. Cant wait for hitman 3
You should try the first two Thief games. They're the only stealth games I'd put over the best Hitman games. Pure stealth ludo.
This
I think Paris is still the deepest and most repayable, but Colorado is up there. Paris is the best map they have made and it is a bit worrying they have not surpassed it yet.
The first two SC’s are a bit rough around the edges, but Chaos Theory and Double Agent ver. 1 are amazing
Will do user, thanks
**ver. 2
Version 1 is an abomination and almost an different game, I don’t know why it exists
