its pretty garbage. i didnt think too much of it when i played it on the 360 but man is it shitty replaying it as an adult.
>AA guns missions >small skirmishes on what should be huge fucking battles over reach >nothing ever feels epic >shitty characters >shitty deaths of said shitty characters
I enjoyed everything from after Sword Base to the ending, but yeah, it's a pretty lackcluster campaign. >first half of the game feels more like a Call of Duty campaign >boring characters
Justin Gomez
>play games in the wrong order >get confused Wow no way
Release order is always correct. Whoever told you to play them in chronological order is a moron; a prequel's story is always written for people who know what comes later in the story. Thanks for proving this for everyone so I don't need to provide my own evidence.
Chase Bell
>Whoever told you to play them in chronological order is a moron; a prequel's story is always written for people who know what comes later in the story I just assumed that it was better to play it that way because that's the release order for the Steam version of the MCC. I'll start with Halo 1 then.
Jeremiah Roberts
>that's the release order for the Steam version of the MCC 343 and Xbox Game Studios are morons then.
Carson Morgan
It's shit until you reenter after George dies and you get that kino sequence of stumbling back into the fight.
Caleb Jackson
Reach came first because it was also being ported to the Xbox at the same time.
Jack Nguyen
Halo 3 is only good because it's short and sweet and there's a fair bit of vehicle levels. You never are hindered by the series worst gunplay because all of the missions give you sniper rifles and the ones that don't are flood levels with shotguns/swords/hammers. If Halo 3 was twice as long and had more enemy variety it'd be a worse game.
Angel Brown
It's the best one mongrel
Liam Thomas
hey buddy fuck you
Connor Miller
Halo Reach needs a prequel
Nathan Gutierrez
>Only has 3 standout missions while the rest are painfully generic or rehashes of other missions >Best campaign in the franchise Lmao
Gabriel Gomez
Would never happen based on public opinion of Reach. Not to mention why would the develop dead characters?
Benjamin Hernandez
>small skirmishes on what should be huge fucking battles over reach That wasn't noble's job, they were a specialized strike team
William Hughes
Sounds boring. Unless you want Contact Harvest turned into a game it would just be spartans beating up human rebels.
Matthew Lewis
it's by far the worst
i played all of the campaigns as they came out on PC for the first time and reach was the least fun and least memorable
Isaiah Sullivan
This
Jeremiah Butler
>that blue balls in tip of the spear fuck off bungie. I wanna get in a massive vehicle battle not fuck around with kat.
Christopher Sullivan
Not him but Reach is a prequel to CE, with only Keyes and Cortana getting brief cameos. They'd just pull Spartans out of their ass (like they did with Reach and the S-IIIs) that played like they do in Halo 5/Infinite.
>Quarantine Zone, High Charity >Brutes in general >Jackal Snipers >3 shit bossfights >Cliffhanger Try again
Blake Clark
Halo 2 has the best plot. Most of the missions are garbage but the good ones are really good.
Charles Foster
>spread the roster too thin, it should have only been 2-3 Spartans. >for whatever reason they decided against using Spartan IIs even though the majority of them were on Reach at the time >Stupid tie in with CE that doesn't really make sense, why the fuck would the Pillar of Autumn land on a planet that is getting over run and glassed >Unimaginative mission objectives that you don't really care about >Reusing campaign maps for multiplayer, this makes replaying the campaign age like milk since you're likely going to spend most of your time in multiplayer grinding endlessly to unlock armor >sprint >sprint >sprint >sprint >bloom >DMRs
The train wreck of Reach was an inside job on Bungie's part. They intentionally set Halo on a nose dive path so that 343 would be more likely to fuck it up.
