Getting into PC gaming is so easy bro
You failed to do something teenaged niggers have been doing for years now. Take some time to reflect on that. What went wrong to make you so inept at practical technology?
It's more like building legos than it was 20 years ago but it's still not the same. wait few years
>it's just like building Legos bro
Expensive, Overrated, painful, Take too time and space, make you llok like an outcast.
yeah it's the same.
How did this even happen
you need to be a genius to build computer
Melting your cpu, that's on you
Doesn't change the fact that pcs can still be put together like legos
my guess
You have less brain power than an 11yr old nigger from a shitty american downtown.
Now end yourself instead of looking for pity on how much you suck.
How is this news worthy
If I could do it at 13, anybody can.
you shouldnt post on this board if youre 11 years old user
all legos are compatible with each other. computer parts are not. there goes your theory einstein
Everybody has their own way of applying thermal compound, but this is just wrong.
Anyone can build a computer. He invented it.
it's a nigger
people genuinely don't understand how desktop PCs are put together
normies pretty much exclusively use laptops, if they have anything aside from a tablet/phone at all
"Journalist" doesn't understand PCs are modular
he really doesn't look 11
My previous mobo fried the CPU socket but that was after 8 years of service and it didn't literally catched fire like that
How this can even happen?
>all legos are compatible with each other
>here let me just attach this 6 pin brick to this 12 pin brick to make a wall
>wait a second...something isn't right here...
You can throw any parts you want into a case. It won't work just like a random assortment of lego bricks won't get you an AT-AT or a Harry Potter castle. That's why lego has curated kits and PC building has sites like logical increments.
That's simply not true though as not all legos can be adjoined to lego wheels, or lego drive shafts, or lego gears, without some kind of specialized lego block
I dunno how CPU can go on literal fire but i set on fire 4 different phone recharrge cables, on different phones
lol
>Got interested in PCs as a young lad
>Lookup a few guides and videos then order the parts the same day with part time job money
>Put it together with no problems, easy as fuck to understand while being extremely accessible with minimal knowledge
If you can't grasp the basic concept of "this part go here if compatible" then you are beyond help
First it is edited. Second it is from local community newsletter that just tells the community what people are up to and shit.
Why the fuck do you retards keep writing "legos"? There's no "s" in lego, it's the fucking same when it's plural. It's one lego, more lego, several lego.
And if you want to be specific, it's also meant to be written LEGO.
But seriously stop it, it makes you look like halfwits.
>thermal compound
look again
Americans really struggle with the concept of plurality when it comes to other languages.
>build a pc from scratch for my first time (first one was a 9 years old prebuilt abort with a 970 threw in it)
>my friend that works at a computer store tells me how to attach PSU cables
>doesn't boot, literally dead
>try my old PSU, attach it like my friend told me
>it just fucking works
Did i do something wrong or is my new PSU dead out of the box? Same Corsair brand, can i try it on my old PC even if the GPU and HDDs are not connected anymore?
The pins you have to use for the powerup button and all the leds are pretty fucking retarded imho, couldn't understand shit without help from my friends
I recognize that image. Its the retard that was posting on /g/ with a few burned motherboards and other destroyed components.
>and all the leds
Normies being dumb isn't new.
>The pins you have to use for the powerup button and all the leds are pretty fucking retarded imho
The motherboard manuals have fucking images with labels for all the pins on it.
It's not even a matter of reading, it's a matter of understand cave man pictures
Gimme PC Gore, the more retarded the better
Is there anything more scary than updating the motherboard BIOS? I always have an urge to update the BIOS as soon as I buy a new one but knowing any power outages could potentially brick it keeps me on edge, power outages are extremely rare where I live, they happen maybe once a month or not even that but it still scares me.
This
>power outages are extremely rare where I live, they happen maybe once a month
Fucking kek.
Haven't had a power outage in over eight years and the only time it's ever happened was an old fuse that blew.
"Once a month", jesus christ. Imagine living in conditions like that.
>2 leds
what's wrong in what i just said?
The only parts that could give trouble are the thermal paste and the cable management. Everything else, as long as you treat the parts with care and follow the manuals, it's easy as Legos.
THAT FUCKING BITCH!
Hint: components can be DOA due to faulty QA but most likely mishandling during shipping. Try getting a return on that PSU.
It's not our problem you don't know how to build Legos, retard.
It is always hard to correctly place the last few pins though.
LEG
LEGO
LEG LEG LEGO
LEGOOOOO
They're fiddly, which is why most boards come with a fucking adapter piece so you don't have to try and slot them directly onto the board. If you can read, you shouldn't have any issue, all you're doing is lining up the legends.
>Few years ago
>My computer's power supply failed
>Had to buy a new one
>Go to Best Buy and buy one
>Week later, new power supply makes this horrible fucking burnt plastic smell
>Had to send it away to be replaced
>It took them a fucking month just to ship one back out
I swear, everything I buy from Best Buy is faulty.
you needed help from friends to understand this image?
I guess my point still stands, imagine you're updating the BIOS and the fuse blows up.
not gonna lie I've built three pcs before and when I helped my mate build his wiring this shit stumped me for a good 30-60 minutes because the orientation was hard to determine once it was in the case.
