>spirit emblems
Why? Just why? Let me have fun please.
Spirit emblems
what was a white girl like Emma doing in ancient Japan?
You never have to worry about it because you'll always have plenty, similar to your ammo from bloodborne
But this is not true. You can have 20 and there are too many moves recquired to use it. Spiritfall, mortal blade, 3 shinobi prosthetics. Whereas in bloodborne its just for bullet parries which makes sense to limit. Spirit emblems just totally gimp combat creativity making sekiro even more limited. If I want to use some moves to my hearts content I should be able to use those moves. A boss like demom of hatred would be 10 times more fun if I coupd use fire umbrellas as often as he used fire. A gauge would have been better to regulate this.
Nah, that shit would make the game way too easy.
No it wouldnt just have a power gauge and leave the spirit emblems for consumables like spiritfall. Instead you have to grind which feels like shit. Using any spirit emblem moves the first time you meet a boss is completely pozzed because you havent learned their moveset and you will spend all those emblems in no time.
Same reason why white people are anywhere else in ancient times.
To colonize and take the land from filthy minorities.
Cheat them. No, really, just use cheat engine. I do and feel no regret. Making them expandable is shit design.
based
Did you complain about Dark Souls spell cast limits, too?
>Let me have fun please.
Getting better while relying on less tools IS the fun. If you have PC you can just cheat like this user here so you can have infinite weapon arts, infinite shurikans, and infinite greatshield umbrellas.
Don't be a bitch, use the mibu balloons
Because then you could just spam lazulite shurikens or some other shit and break the game.
I agree with a "stamina bar" kind of thing for prosthetics but that regenerates slower than stamina to prevent spamming.
Play on PC and use the mod that gives infinite Spirit Emblems, it makes the game a whole hell of a lot more fun.
At the most, the axe and spear should’ve had some sort of basic “attack” when you’re out of emblems similar to the weapon arts. The whole point of the cap is to have you plan out your tool usage for a fight.
No because it makes sense to limit spells, they have more than plenty uses to make a big difference, its ballanced for magic builds. Spells are also not that expansive to melee combat whereas shinobi tools and combat arts have potential for some creative gameplay, oops too bad you can only use them sparingly despite them being useless for the most part, oh and also you need emblems for spiritfall(spells) too lol. And spells are free to replenish whereas sekiro you will go broke at some point. Its just shitty game design, most of the tools locked behind spirit emblems are useless and they are rendered even more useless by the limitation.
Thats pretty much what Im suggesting
>tfw I always ran out after several attempts and ended up killing the boss without tools
>finally get to fountain head palace
>cheese the sakky bull by sprinting around and spamming mortal draw
>check to see what spirit emblems I have in storage
>774
>still on NG
If you're crutching so hard that you're hurtting for spirit emblems, then you're a bigger scrub than I am. The most they need to do is just make the spirit emblems in storage infinite.
t.died 9000 time to owl at ashina castle and the snake eyes bitches
Cant wait to play Sekiro again, probably going to go for the 100%
This is exactly the problem. You will die anyway even with infinite spiritfall because its a rhythm game not GoW style power up to win game. The prosthetics are limited to certain situations where they are entirely optional so why even bother wasting spirit emblems for anything other than spiritfall?
But I barely use prosthetic tools. When I unlocked mortal draw and ashina cross I used them the same way I would ichimonji double, aka wait for boss to stagger and heavy attack. Except that this happens like 50 times in a boss fight, multiply that by 3 and maybe the occasional shinobi firecrackers.
I had hundreds more than I ever needed until I reached DoH and actually ran out after so many failed attempts. The grinding required was nothing compared to the "unlock all skills" achievement
>Sekiro
FUCK HEADLESS
>No because it makes sense to limit spells, they have more than plenty uses to make a big difference, its ballanced for magic builds.
So do tools. They have more than plenty uses to make a big difference between. Makes perfect sense to keep them limited.
>Spells are also not that expansive to melee combat whereas shinobi tools and combat arts have potential for some creative gameplay
You can get creative with spells, too. Guess they better make them free all the time! You’re dumb.
>oops too bad you can only use them sparingly
Unless you’re using weapon arts that don’t use emblems. If you are, they have costs for a reason and still can be used for “creative gameplay purposes” because they have weaker variants that still go off when you’re out of emblems.
>And spells are free to replenish whereas sekiro you will go broke at some point.
Enemies drop emblems and money.
>”BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR ME”
Personal problem. I’d tell you to get good if I thought it was possible so just cheat instead.
It's still poor game design. The unlock all skills too, you should have them all unlocked by the time you reach isshin but noooooo you must waste your time grinding after the game is finished.
You need to feel guilty about claiming all those lives for your own twisted contraptions. You shouldn't be using them unless it is absolutely necessary.
I never really used prosthetic tools (outside of headless and shichimen warrior). I disliked using them so much, felt like I was cheating.
>can’t feel the weighing guilt of murder because the prosthetic uses it as fuel
Fucking dangerous as all hell
Just use Divine Confetti, user. They get staggered when you keep hitting them.
>So do tools.
No they dont theyre weak and circumstantial at best.
>You can get creative with spells, too. Guess they better make them free all the time! You’re dumb.
Spells are free smartass, getting creative with them is literally just timing.
>Enemies drop emblems and money.
You still waste them just as quickly having fun or trying to at least.
>Personal problem. I’d tell you to get good if I thought it was possible so just cheat instead.
Nice try, I beat the game. Imagine defending horrendous game design with le git gud maymay. Sekiro combat is known for being limited and this is why ez derrivative games like GoT are praised for having better combat, because in many ways it does, and it would be 10 times better than sekiro if they werent so OP.
how
never had any huge problems, if anything it made me count my ammo just a bit.
that would be like training wheels mode, though
You get a knife that lets you trade health for emblems (and then rest to do it again), so they're only really limited inside each fight.
Demon of Hatred, Owl, Isshin. Try to have fun fighting any bosses in this game and the game will punish you for not 1shotting them at your first go using nothing but deflects and r1. The only boss you can beat without knowing their moveset is blazing bull, just fight him like a Spanish bullfighter and he is extremely predictable.
Depends on the tool, obviously some them would be too powerful if you could use them constantly, but there's no reason at all why you should only be able to carry a maximum 20 when shit like the flame vent uses 3 at once. It's also a pain in the ass keeping enough emblems for all 3 segments of the second ape fight.
And what is it now? "Just dont bother using anything other than r1 mode"? Its a rhythm game, tools make 0 difference unless you time them properly, just like attacks. Just lock them behind a slow gauge.
Fuck terror in general honestly.
The max you can carry isn't the problem.
Talked like a true scrub
>rhythm game
not really, since you can mitigate a lot of attacks via positioning
>cheesing
Yes we know you can beat all the bosses if you just run around them and attack once during their cooldown time. This is no way to play the game. Its a rhythm game the way its meant to be played.
