fucking imageshack. Why did so many fags use that garbage. Free account images only lasted less than a year. Tinypic lasted over 15 years even on a free account until the website finally died last year. need to find something new to use that isn't imgur shit
>I made a mod that fixes that issue bro, here's the link

What game
I just want to say I actually pm’d a fix and someone necro’d a thread but that notification went to my spam... I noticed too late...
>What game
HItman Absolution
>looking for a solution to a problem
>find a 10 year-old thread about it
>last post is "nevermind, figured it out" with no details
>spend 3 hours implementing extremely convoluted solution to make game run, guides, unofficial patches, fucking with windows registers, the whole 10 yards
> works once
> back to square one the next day
>pm'd you the fix
>he actually did
>download sketchy fix from shady website
>it works
I'm currenlty praying the Internet Archive doesn't go down over that book lawsuit because with it go all the ancient mods and fixes one can't find anywhere else.
>the only posts that count are the ones that help others with their problems
It's time to end this little game!
SON OF A FUCKING BITCH
>this gallery is pining the fjords
Goddammit, thank God for the panda.
hahahahah
Pc master race pc has no issues at all everything just works fucking consolefags I bet a consolefag made this thread.
why did they do this?
why didn't they just post it in the thread?
Some people just want to watch the world burn.
Social Anxiety over that fact that many people would see that their "fix" might actually be wrong and didn't work.
One of the reasons I've read of is
>OP doesn't get replies for a while
>poster assumes OP must've given up on the thread
>poster chooses to PM so that OP sees the solution
It's kinda retarded because you can just do both.
>finally watched American Psycho
>all these threads are 100x more funny and understandable
>pm fix
>copy paste fix to post in thread
Really what lingua
‘‘Tis gud
Russian
>look through pages of unrelated shit to find the one working solution because Google is complete jew shit these days and promotes only a select few sites
but for real why did people pm people fixes ever at all? Like literally what was the motive to them taking the extra effort to keeping it in a pm? Did they think they were saving the forums from spam? Is it just a mandela-effect strawman and nobody's ever actually done that, but it's just a simplification of forum troubleshooting chats being indiscernible due to info the posters knew at the time but we don't nowadays?
oh I'm slow, didn't catch this desu
What kind of tech support would you even need for a game nowadays? Aside from bethesda games, I feel that common problems have their solutions centralized by now with steam/gog forums and pcgamingwiki.
>looking for a fix
>find "nvm fixed it"
>next post is them explaining in detail the issue and how to fix it
>Holy fuck I can't believe it
>make an account to thank them
>thread locked because of necro posting
>only premium users can see locked threads
I AM SO SORRY
Most of these threads are about niche issues that aren't a direct result of the game rather OS/hardware issues
